ZillowVERIFIED I moved across country from MD to CA leaving my house in Craig Rosenfeld's capable hands. It was probably less than usual to have a house full of junk and pandemic in front of him. Instead, we hatched a partnership plan. I provided resources, he provided connections and expertise. I provided guidance on my expectations, he provided direction and a plan to get to closing. Boy, did that work out great! All the house clearing, painting, repair, and beautification got done - Plan Part A check! Plan Part B - listing and selling went super fast. The day after staging we got a good offer and we finalized it within a day. Plan Part B check! Plan Part C - closing was awesome. I signed all the papers on my porch (safe distancing a notary) in CA. Funds arrived one hour after closing! Plan Part C check! Look, this was a novel challenge in the time of novel Corona Virus, but Craig Rosenfeld made it happen flawlessly. I'm super happy. ZillowVERIFIED I started the process of looking for a home in 2018 and Craig came highly recommended from my family. Throughout the process, there were periods of time where I had to stop looking for personal and health reasons. Even though by that point I had asked him to look at least 50 properties and open houses he was completely understanding of my situation and was never pushy or just trying to get the sale. In fact, the only times he would contact me while I was dealing with my health issues would be to check on how I was doing and to ask if there was any way he could help. He was quick to pick up on things I liked and didn't like and would start sending me properties and adjusting my home search on the fly. He just got where I was coming from and adapted to my constantly changing taste. After I met my fiancee and we decided to start looking for homes together in a completely different area he didn't hesitate at all. He was clearly knowledgeable of the new area, its rules and laws, and the homes it had to offer. Once again he adapted and completely changed his searches and criteria to our constantly changing needs. We went through about another 50+ properties and he didn't miss a beat.... even though he would have to drive at least 45 minutes each way each time we wanted to look at properties. He would always get to the properties early and was prepared with packets of information for us in hand. His insight on things like large power lines and grading which would bring water towards your home or knowing where to look in nooks and crannies to find potential problems or problems home owners would try to hide helped us TREMENDOUSLY. Most realtors are trying to get their commission and get out. He would steer us away from trouble even if it meant telling us something we didn't want to hear but knew was true. Its easy to fall in love with a property and ignore issues but he always made us focus on the house as a whole because he truly wanted us to get the best for our money. The thing I appreciated the most is that he somehow would make a process that could easily be boring a lot of fun. We ended up becoming friends rather than clients and would crack some jokes, talk about our day, catch up on family events, etc. while still focusing on the properties. It speaks to his personality when he can turn hours of house searching into something enjoyable, especially after an 8-10 hour work day when my fiancee and I would show up exhausted most of the time. After looking at dozens of houses with both my fiancee and I and helping us find the house we were looking for he didn't stop there. He worked with our lender, our title company, seller's agent, etc. to make sure every single detail was ironed out and in our favor as much as possible. He knew exactly when to push back on the sellers when they would try and take shortcuts to save themselves money and hassle and gave us great advice on what to ask for in the contract. While going back and forth with the contract he was fair and honest with us and would tell us when things we asked for were reasonable or unreasonable so that our deal wouldn't fall through. Even on the morning of closing day he talked to the sellers and their agent to get issues that weren't addressed taken care of and succeeded in getting us more money to take care of the problems. To put it simply, he goes above and beyond to make sure that the whole deal is as good as it can get for his clients before they sign anything. He was there on closing day and reading through all of the paperwork to make sure there were no mistakes. It ended up that there were mistakes and he made sure those were fixed too before we signed for anything. I've never met a realtor with so much passion for and knowledge of what they do and can confidently say he will take care of you if you choose him as your realtor!

But after meeting with Craig, he put together a plan to get the house ready to sell and said he would take care of everything. As soon as I was able to get all of our family's personal items taken care of, Craig had the house cleaned up and on the market within a couple of weeks. We had a good selection of offers by the next weekend, and closed on an offer over asking price the week after that! When my father passed away it was unexpected and very emotional for me. We would later find out that nothing about this house sale would be straight forward.Tending to all the affairs of cleaning out the house and getting it ready to sell seemed an overwhelming task from where I lived 750 miles away. He was immediately able to connect me with all the right people to get things done, painters, estate sale folks, plumbers, house cleaners, and he got his own hands dirty many times to keep things running smoothly and on schedule.
