About Colette M Klapperich

I've been a full-time REALTORA(R) since 2012, representing buyers and sellers throughout Fond du Lac County and surrounding communities. Experience has taught me that successful real estate transactions require more than knowing how to write an offer or list a home. They require good communication, careful preparation, local market knowledge, and someone willing to give straightforward advice.

I work with clients at many different stages of life, from first-time homebuyers and growing families to longtime homeowners preparing to sell, downsize, or make their next move. A significant part of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals, relationships I especially value because they are built on trust earned over time.

My role is to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions. For sellers, that means providing an honest assessment of their property and the market, developing a thoughtful strategy, and adjusting when market conditions or buyer feedback tell us we should. For buyers, it means helping them evaluate not only whether they can buy a particular property, but whether it is the right decision for them.

I believe good representation also means being willing to have candid conversations. Sometimes the best advice I can give a client is to move forward confidently. Other times, it may be to slow down, reconsider, or look at the situation differently. My responsibility is to represent my client's interests, not simply close a deal.

I hold the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABRA(R)), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate, REALTORA(R) Institute (GRI) designations and earned my Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

My approach to real estate reflects the philosophy I've built my business around: "Working with YOU in mind".

Community Involvement

I am a proud supporter of the Humane Society, Fondy Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Disabled American Veterans, and local youth sports teams.

HOBBIES/INTEREST

I enjoy dining at the many diverse restaurants and shopping at the boutique shops across Fond du Lac and its surrounding communities. A Friday night fish fry and taking in a breathtaking sunset over Lake Winnebago is always a treat. Being outdoors exploring our area hiking trails with my English Labrador retriever, Rosie is always a fun time, too!
