FAQ
Start asking questions before you think you're ready. The biggest mistake I see buyers make is waiting until they've found a home they love online to then get their finances in order. By then, it's usually too late for that home.
Speaking with a financial advisor or loan officer to understand what's possible for you and your family in the next 1 to 5 years is a great way to plan for future homeownership. Then you can consult with a realtor about your non-negotiables and home dreams, and start your search with intention.
A good agent's job is to keep you grounded when things get stressful or competitive, and to make sure you're making decisions based on what actually works for you.
Lastly, don't try to time the market. The best time to buy is when YOU are financially ready. There are so many variables that contribute to a fluctuating home market. If you find a home you love and feel it's a strong financial decision, that's when you go for it.
Start with the right pricing strategy! Overpricing is a big mistake I see sellers make, and it almost always costs them in the end. An overpriced room does not get in front of as many eyes and can end up sitting on the market too long, leaving buyers to to wonder: “What's wrong with it?”
Before you list, take an honest look at your home through a buyer's eyes. Small updates and a deep clean can go a long way. You don't need to renovate, but presentation matters more than most sellers realize.
Find an agent who will tell you the truth, not just what you want to hear. The best agent for you isn't necessarily the one who gives you the highest price estimate. It's the one with the data, strategy, marketing, and communication skills that feel right for you.
And once you're under contract, stay flexible. Negotiations don't end once an offer is accepted. Inspections, appraisals, and timelines all come with their own moments of uncertainty. A great agent will guide you through it and keep the deal together when things feel bumpy.
I've worked with a wide range of clients, including:
- First-time homebuyers
- Relocation and out-of-state buyers
- Upsizers
- Downsizers
- Second-home buyers
- Investment buyers
- Sellers
I transitioned into real estate after a 7+ year career in the music industry. I saw real value in helping families find a place to call home. Helping people build equity and make wise, exciting financial decisions is something I find fulfilling.
I also love the people on the industry side. Working alongside other top-producing agents who approach this business with a growth and collaboration mindset, and who are true entrepreneurs that really care about what they do, has made this career even more rewarding.
I learned this business through osmosis, growing up in a household of realtors with cousins in the industry as well. Long before I had a license, I was already being shaped by this world.
I earned my work ethic in the music industry, negotiating multi-million dollar deals for high-profile clients and learning early on that even the biggest names are just people who need guidance and support to reach their goals. I bring that same mindset to every real estate client I work with, regardless of price point.
The music industry also primed me for the 24/7 nature of real estate in ways I didn't fully appreciate until I made the switch. The hustle, the relationship-building, the high-stakes negotiations — I was ready for this business before I even knew it.
