It was the first surge of the pandemic and I'm of a certain age plus I live over 2 hours away, so it wasn't easy for me to visit homes. Cody videotaped what I was most interested in and answered my questions. Because of his background in construction and management, he knew what to look for and what I wanted even better than I did. Most important he was not pushy yet protective. I feel comfortable and cozy in my new place. He guided me through the pitfalls of getting a loan and filling out paperwork online. ZillowVERIFIED I had owned my house for about 10 years & really needed to get out of that neighborhood and into the tiny house Ive always wanted in a better neighborhood. Cody was able to convey to me what my house needed to be able to sell and was honest in his pricing to sell it quickly while still getting the amount it was worth. Cody was able to arrange walk-throughs for prospective buyers all while respecting that I work long graveyard shifts and have a few animals to work around with the showings. Cody found a great location in Davis for me to move to that unfortunately fell through but was able to pull a miracle out of thin air and find another beautiful house in Lincoln at the very last minute. He is very knowledgeable in the details of the Davis area! Even with issues beyond our control popping up seemingly left and right causing me to become discouraged at times, Cody was knowledgeable in alternative avenues at our disposal while still being able to be professional, upbeat, and full of positive energy every time we spoke putting my anxiety at ease. Cody is a real estate agent who is first and foremost a genuinely caring person that pours his all into selling your home and/or buying another. He follows through any questions or issues you have while explaining thoroughly what needs to happen and why. There is no ignoring your concerns or needs at any point in the transaction. I never had to worry about being in the dark about anything involving the sale or purchase. All texts, calls, or emails were promptly and thoroughly answered and he spent much (too much) of his personal time devoted to making sure I was comfortable with every step in the sale. Cody is very personable, honest, and trustworthy and I recommend him to anyone who is even thinking of buying or selling their home. You can tell this is more than just a job to him. He knows Davis well and was able to give us the ins and outs of the area. Even after we had moved into our new home, he was still working hard to find hired help for the things that we we needed to get done around the house. Another thing we love about Cody is that he understands that the home buying process is very personal so he let us set our boundaries of what we feel comfort with and will guide us when we need help.
