Claude entertained my whims and curiosities, allowing me to finetune what I wanted and more importantly, didn?t want. He told me to trust him and to trust the process. He wouldn?t let me settle for a lesser house when I was frustrated or wanted to throw in the towel after losing a house I had my heart set on. His recommendations were understandable, made sense, and he followed through on my selections. He worked closely with the people I hired to clean out the Unit after the movers took my stuff to storage. He also worked closely with the Building Manager on needed paperwork, access to the building and the unit, and required paperwork for the closing. When he needed my input on building rules & processes his requests were clear and doable. I needed a minor repair and he and I worked with management to get it done in time for the closing. He was all about details and follow through.

He has a steady, calming energy that was a huge support during a stressful time. Claude was on top of things from our very first meeting. He checked in with me when he said he would (which was weekly unless I had questions and we were in touch more often). He met with me in person on a regular basis and saw how things were progressing with getting the house ready for sale. He LISTENS and responds to what he hears. If I question something or if I misunderstand, he takes the time to EXPLAIN what he means. And he manages to do this with RESPECT. I was always treated as an intelligent person -- even when I was frazzled and overwhelmed. I freaked out when the buyers asked for a concession based on the home inspection but Claude coached me in how to respond and I felt very reassured after our conversation. Thats how I felt after every conversation with him -- questions answered, concerns addressed, hope restored.

The first was my uncles condo that was listed early in 2021 and sold quickly - because it was an estate, there were many more details that Claude needed to handle, and he did so with great skill and attention to detail. This review will focus on my own apartment that sold this past June. Claudes professionalism and knowledge combined with his unmatched service to his clients was the best I have ever experienced. Most recently, he listed and sold my apartment at a higher price than was expected. His marketing skills are unmatched, not to mention his negotiation skills, combined with his no pressure, but thoughtful, personality. The listing was priced at exactly what the comps suggested. The offers I received over asking were a surprise, and Claude negotiated in the most professional and upfront manner with the competing offers. He is a good listener, and also, very willing to help with all the details including assessing the need for staging (but not requiring it), providing a few items to help with the staging and having a large rug removed at the last minute. Most importantly he stayed in touch with me every step of the way, sending texts, emails, and calls when needed. I wish I had another property in the DC area so I could work with Claude again.

We had been monitoring the housing market for a few months from overseas and were preparing to begin our search after we arrived, in late 2020. However, a property we really liked popped up on the market while we were still en route to DC and Claude scrambled to arrange a virtual tour with us. He also handled the extremely difficult sellers agent with more patience and grace than we had, and continued to prioritize us after we decided to continue our search (which unfortunately happened on more than one occasion). Claude was always available, worked quickly to pivot when we asked him to, and his advice was always sound and in our best interest. We cannot recommend Claude enough and hope to work with him again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Claude helped me got a one-bedroom apartment during the difficult time of COVID!! He was very knowledgable and extremely helpful. Very responsive, always replied to my general questions within hours, and within an hour if I inquired a showing on the same day! I honestly don't know if any realtor would be able to always respond immediately. We went through two unsuccessful offers; for the last one that I ended up purchasing, it happened in June/July, so the housing market was a little crazy (high demand and low supply). I offered the asking price, hence there wasn't a lot of negotiations involved. Claude helped me made the offer, and gave me contact information for home inspectors, so we can do home inspections right away. As a result, home inspection clause did not need to go in my offer and I assume that made my offer more competitive! The only thing is that I wish I requested quotes from contractors on my remodeling projects, so I had a better idea for all the costs associated with buying the place and get it ready for living, but that's largely on me as a first-time buyer.

I was afraid my experience was going to be painful one, as I lived in FL and was able to travel to VA only for one weekend during the time we were looking for a new house.
