That is no small thing! LOL He is actually the only agent weve worked with that had any clue about taxes which is a big deal as its such a huge factor in the monthly costs. Chris's expertise on construction, construction quality and the ins and outs of country living (water softening, snow removal, basement dryness, tree removal, etc) was really reassuring. ZillowVERIFIED I set up an appointment with Chris Baker of K Fortuna Realty yesterday through text message to see a property I was interested in purchasing. Today he failed to show up for that appointment. I waited at the house for 30 minutes and during that time, I called multiple times, left voice mail and sent text messages all of which went unreturned. This was my first (and last) dealing with Chris, so I cant speak to anything other than his complete lack of professionalism in failing to show up or communicate in any way about missing this appointment. My advice, dont work with Chris. Buying a home is hard enough, find someone who will show some respect for you and your valuable time.

We loved him from the beginning because he was so honest about all of the properties pointed out things we would've never thought of. We were first time home buyers so it was important to us to have a realtor that was savvy and caring. Chris definitely met all of our expectations. He was able to introduce us to attorneys inspectors and brokers that helped facilitate this process. He also negotiated everything and protected our interests. Chris showed us homes in any weather snow super cold rain you name it. He also answered all of my questions immediately almost making me feel as if I was his only client. He is personable and hilarious. He definitely helped alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with the home searching process. With covid19 changing so many regulations, Chris still checked up on us and was honest with us throughout the whole process. Chris was not only extremely responsive to even the dumbest of questions, but he also was not at all overbearing (as some agents we've talked to have been). He never rushed us and everything flowed very organically. Chris has great experience in the home buying process and excellent knowledge of the area. He was SO responsive and even provided us with contacts to help us get through the sale (inspector, lawyer, lender, etc.) We didn't have the smoothest home buying process due to external factors, but Chris was really helpful in pushing things along for us to get what we wanted. Overall, I honestly can't say enough nice things about Chris, he is the kind of person I would recommend to family and friends knowing that he knows what he is doing as an agent, knows everything about homes, and cares a lot about his clients and their needs.
