After graduating from high school she went to Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. She received her Funeral Director and Embalming license, then went on to get her Associate Degree in Funeral Service. Christie became an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader in 1995, but continued to assist families in the local funeral home during that time.She married her husband, Scott Hayes who is a licensed general contractor. It was with his urging that she decided to get her Real Estate Salesperson license. She has been actively licensed since 1998 and lists and sells residential properties in the South Metro area of Atlanta. She represents individuals, investors and builders.
