1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The Northeast is still a competitive market, with good homes receiving multiple offers in the first weekend. Buyers in our market have to work with an agent capable of beating the competition, and doing it without overpaying. Understanding what a seller is looking for in a competitive offer is key, and saves the buyers money in the long run.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
With higher interest rates and the new post-pandemic market, we’re seeing more homes with price reductions and sellers trying to use the same strategies that used to work, but unfortunately don’t any longer. Understanding your competition (other sellers in your neighborhood) is critical so that buyers want your home more than the other 3 they are considering. From staging consultations to pricing strategy, or analyzing the competition, sellers need to hire a team (not a solo agent) who is on the cutting edge of market knowledge, negotiating strategy, and home sale positioning to put more money in the pocket of the seller.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Our team specializes in multiple types of clients. From first-time homebuyers who need help understanding the 90+ step buying process, to sellers who need someone to cover the cost of a small renovation before listing, our team works with everyone! Our team includes specialists who hold certifications like Accredited Buyer Representative, in order to help buyers at an elite level. We also have Seniors Real Estate Specialists on the team for those in their golden years looking to right-size their real estate holdings. We also buy and sell a large number of investment properties for our real estate investor clients.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Our recent clients John & Christina owned a home in northern Rhode Island that they had renovated. This was a beautiful Storybook Tudor Revival straight out of a design magazine. This home was perfect, except for the fact that it was too far away from John’s new job in Worcester. If we could have picked up the house and moved it, we would have! That’s how much we’ll do for our clients. In a market where there are so few houses for sale, we first had to identify the right house. After months of searching, we found the perfect house in Northbridge. Our team was able to get access early, before the first open house. Within an hour of seeing the home, we wrote an aggressive offer (that included a full home inspection) and presented it to the sellers with the contingency that it had to be accepted before the open house the next day. Success! We were able to get their new home under contract, and we negotiated an extended closing date to give us time to sell their gorgeous home in Rhode Island. We kicked into high gear and had the home listed the same week, with marketing that generated the perfect offer over the asking price in the first weekend! It was a lot of work behind the scenes for our team, but worth it to see John & Christina (plus Clara & Pretzel) in their new home for the holidays!
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

carpentry and home renovation thanks to my talented dad, a finish carpenter, and my mom, an
