My biggest piece of advice is to be informed before you fall in love with a house. Get pre-approved, understand your budget, and work with a Realtor who will educate you, not just unlock doors. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make, so ask questions, lean on your professionals, and don’t let emotions outweigh good judgment. The goal isn’t just to buy a house, it’s to make a smart investment that supports your future.

Who you hire truly matters. My biggest piece of advice is to remember that you’re not selling your home, you’re marketing it. Preparation matters. Pricing matters. Photography matters. Exposure matters. The right strategy from day one can mean more showings, stronger offers, and ultimately more money in your pocket. Don’t choose an agent based solely on the highest suggested price. Choose someone with a proven marketing plan who can back up their pricing with data.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients over the years. I’ve helped first time homebuyers, growing families, empty nesters, luxury buyers and sellers, investors, estates, divorcing couples, relocation clients, veterans, land buyers and sellers, and clients navigating probate or court ordered sales. I’ve also worked with homeowners whose listings didn’t sell the first time and helped them successfully relist and close. Every situation is different, which is why I believe every client deserves a strategy that’s tailored to their specific goals.

It’s hard to pick just one because every transaction has its own story, but I’m especially fond of the ones where we overcome challenges. Whether it’s navigating financing issues, finding creative solutions, or helping a client who thought homeownership wasn’t possible, those are the transactions that stick with me. Handing someone the keys after we’ve worked through all of that together never gets old.

I got started in real estate after my husband and I bought our second home. Like so many people, we found ourselves asking, “What do we do with our first house? Do we sell it? Do we keep it as a rental? Is investing in real estate even something we should consider?” That experience opened my eyes to how many questions people have when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Within a few months of closing on our home, I enrolled in real estate school, passed my exam, and I’ve been helping buyers and sellers navigate those same decisions ever since.

Absolutely. I’m constantly investing in my education and professional development. Through my brokerage and organization, I have access to ongoing coaching, training, masterminds, and collaboration with top producing agents across the country. I also bring hands on experience as a real estate investor, which gives me a different perspective when evaluating properties and negotiating on behalf of my clients. Every transaction teaches me something new, and I believe continuing to learn is one of the best ways I can serve my clients at the highest level.
