She took care of everything, which was immensely helpful given that we lived 40 minutes away from the house we were selling. This included coordinating with handymen for repairs, landscapers, furniture movers, etc. - this took a huge load off my plate. Beyond that, I think her overall listing strategy (marketing, pricing, comp analysis, etc) was very well thought out and executed. The staging, photos and videos were very high quality, tasteful and professional. Where I think Celeste really shines is in her negotiation skills. ZillowVERIFIED Selling my brother's condo was no easy task but Celeste Zarling has the experience and superior problem solving skills to meet it head on. Mid-sale a leak occurred in the bathroom. Undaunted Celeste dealt with me, the HOA, other condo owners and plumbers. She spent hours coordinating the fix. This required many visits including one in the middle of the night with her own shop vac to clear up some water in the tub. Celeste went to bat for us and stood up for us many times. She had to deal with keys that were ancient and difficult to reproduce. She had to deal with an HOA that made it difficult to place keys to be secure yet available for other realtors to conduct showings. The key issue also took hours of her time but she never wavered and stood her ground with whomever she needed to. Selling my brother's condo to support him in assisted living was quite daunting for me. Celeste was patient and compassionate. She swooped in with extensive experience, a highly developed skillset, along with a valuable list of contacts and staged the place to look updated yet showcased its beautiful vintage charm. We recommend Celeste Zarling without reservation. She worked hard for us and I know she will work hard for anyone else.

ZillowVERIFIED After interviewing 10 agents to see if it made sense for me to use a broker to list my home, I carefully chose Celeste. Celeste is very professional, has a team of support behind her, and she is a go-getter and proved herself to earn my business. As I renovated my property before listing, I needed to know the most that I could get for it, and Celeste provided reasonable comps to compare it to, whereas other realtors did not. I'm not sure if this is specific to Celeste or Century21, but when I needed to cancel my listing due to financial constraints and sitting on market for 45 days, I have been unable to do so without signing ridiculous conditional legal agreements that guarantee that Century21 receive commissions, even while my house is unsold. The listing for my house is essentially being held hostage for an amount of money. I have offered numerous times to pay for any expenditures that C21 has incurred for my listing, as well as time spent marketing; even though it has only proven to cost me over $6000 in holding costs. I have been patient and reasonable, but greed has left a very sour taste in my mouth.

ZillowVERIFIED Celeste Zarling exceeded all my expectations in several ways. First, the listing price was much higher than what a discount broker had suggested. Second, we had an excellent offer, again much higher than the listing price within 24 hours of the open house. Third, when that first offer did not materialize, the next offer in the pipeline was strengthened to practically match the first offer. Essentially, within a week we were in serious negotiations. That was beyond my expectations. At times, it seemed that Celeste was working just for me even though I knew she had many other obligations. Yes, issues did arise during the process and I was becoming doubtful. That is when Celeste proved that she is a problem solver in addressing all those issues.
