We chose Carolyn Triebold to assist in selling our house for her integrity, ability to coach us as sellers, getting clients the deal they want, and helping us navigate through the whole house selling process. We both have deep roots in the central coast, but along with many other residents we moved out of the SoCal area to another state because California is not the state we grew up in, and we wanted to be hands-on grandparents. Carolyns wealth of experience brought us 5-star sales strategies and more offers than we knew what to do with. I can't say enough good things about Carolyn. My husband and I met her at an open house. We showed up after the showing time-slot and saw her loading the "open house" signs in her car. We asked if she was the listing agent and if we were too late. She smiled, said "no problem at all," and showed us the home. She did not rush us and was friendly. It was clear that she had knowledge about the home, neighborhood, city, school district, etc.--all important factors when purchasing a home. We did not put an offer on that home but I did not forget her professionalism and told my husband that she had to be our agent in our search for our home. Carolyn took the time to meet with us in person, discuss our criteria, and learn about our current living situation and specific timelines to find a home. I appreciated that Carolyn worked with my very busy schedule and she was flexible. If a home came on the market that she knew met our criteria, she would reach out within minutes and we had appointments booked that day. In a matter of three weeks, we saw several homes, found "the one", put in an offer and got keys to our home. Carolyn was assertive and made our offer stand out above others. I am confident that this would not have been possible without Carolyn's help. As a lawyer, I am used to advocating for others. Without a doubt, we made the right call by trusting Carolyn to advocate for us. I cannot recommend her enough.

CA Buyer Rep Agreement? Buyer agrees to pay the commission?

Hi Linda - You will be asked to sign an agreement prior to showing a home, BUT the details are negotiable, so is the fee. That fee is a negotiated rate between you and your agent that is typically NOT due until you close on home. Most good agents can negotiate that the seller contribute to all or a portion of that fee at closing. Best of luck to you!
