ZillowVERIFIED 5 days. In just that 120 hour period, Carmen sold our very unique property after hosting an Open House! The adventure began when we consulted with Carmen in the summer of 2018 about the timing of selling our home. Knowing we had some projects to complete, she suggested we take a good look at our progress and the culture of the market in January of 2019. In the new Year, we did the walk through with Carmen and she was completely upfront and honest about what work still needed to be accomplished. For our home to get to the price point we needed, she gave us options to add details that would really pay off. Some of them were easy, while others required that we enlist a lot of help. ALL of the suggestions were spot on. By the time wed made the upgrades and put a boat-load of sweat into it, we were very pleasantly surprised when Carmen listed the house for TWENTY THOUSAND dollars MORE than my husband and I thought it would sell for! In the end, Carmens instincts were tried and true, because the offer we accepted was an ADDITIONAL $5K higher than our asking price! And did I mention that it came in just FIVE DAYS? The negotiation process was a piece of cake...for us! Carmens team sent all of the paperwork electronically and the signing of the documents was so simple it was hard to believe! Carmen kept her eye on the timelines, and kept us in the loop every step of the way, even aEURoeholding my handaEUR? as we worked towards the closing date. She explained, and re-explained a few difficulties that we had to work through with the buyers, always advocating for us while always doing the right thing. Carmen is a skilled negotiator and literally saved our deal from falling apart. The inspection report showed our house to have foundation issues that require remediation, and from the very first call from the buyers agent, Carmen was on top of things! She worked diligently with the Contractor we chose, the Buyers Agent, and the Escrow company to bring us through to a mutually satisfactory solution. She listened carefully to the buyers concerns and needs, called the contractor for options, and then us with potential solutions, giving us the information we needed to make a good decision. Without that effort, I think our buyers might have walked away from a potentially scary purchase. Carmens expertise made it less about fear of the unknown and more about having the courage to trust the process!! We closed on our home exactly 30 days after receiving the signed-around agreement, all because of Carmens persistence and willingness to walk the extra mile. We cant thank her aEUR"or recommend her enough aEUR" to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. And I am pretty sure we will feel this way for at LEAST 5 days...times infinity.

Our process was complicated by the fact that we were stationed overseas at the time. She was able to make the paper-signing process super quick and easy with electronic documents and e-signing. She also clearly explained every document and was able to answer all our questions.
