We weren't ready to buy yet and already planned to work with another agent that we knew, but Carla was so helpful and knowledgeable right up front, without asking for anything from us, that we decided to sign on with her. And it was the right decision. She REALLY know what she's doing. So much so that when we met other agents that worked with her they would say things like, "You're in good hands with Carla." "She's the best." "I've learned so much from her." We really relied on Carla for her expertise from the very beginning, from considering neighborhoods to making an offer that a seller would accept in this very competitive market. Touring homes with her was the best... we would look at the pretty and she would look at the "ugly" (how old was the roof/windows/hvac, are things working, etc.). She pointed out things we never would have considered. We highly recommend Carla, without exception.

Throughout the entire process of viewing and purchasing a home she was super responsive, knew the market, and clued me in on little things that I would have otherwise missed. In addition, I actually got a call from my lender. He said he's seen a lot of agents both bad and good, but Carla stood out from the crowd. He described things going on that I had no idea Carla was taking care of behind the scenes. Overall Carla saved me thousands of dollars.

We were just literally giving up on our search and knowing our situation that is when we got introduced to Carla! We ended up purchasing the home we were renting in a For Sale By Owner. Carla was instrumental in representing us as buyers, taking care of all of the contract contingencies, and negotiating with our former landlord. Carla was always available via phone call, email, or text and always had the answers to our questions and concerns. Carla also made sure everything was on track and that nothing would interfere with the closing date. Lastly, her expertise and connections in the real estate market helped us find and use the best lending agency and title company we could ask her. She has a keen eye for looking at the little and big things and is not afraid to speak up if she thinks something is off (or on) about a house. Her number one priority is her clients' happiness.My favorite story about working with Carla (and one that I think exemplifies her dedication to her buyers and her overall awesomeness), is when she pushed herself around on a wooden dolly, in her nice dress clothes, in the crawl space (of our now house) to double check that there weren't any signs of moisture issues. She came out covered in dust and dirt, but confirmed everything looked good. We live in an area with a very competitive buyers market. Carla knew just how to make our offer the most appealing one. There were seven offers on the house we bought, and we were the winning bid because Carla knew how make our offer stand out. In addition to being a fantastic buyer's agent, Carla is a great person! She is friendly and outgoing. Our girls love her, and she was sweet enough to buy us a gift after the birth of our son earlier this year. We cannot recommend Carla enough for anyone looking to buy a home in Northern VA!

ZillowVERIFIED Carla is an amazing realtor - well-informed, methodical, and has immense technical structural knowledge of houses and appliances. She made our house hunting very successful on account of those qualities, and we are happiest with the house we found. She always invested time to complete an amazing amount of research on what we really needed, and always had those specific houses short-listed for us to visit. There are two aspects of personality in which she beats perhaps everyone else. She is calm and very mature, and "very" honest. She always told us what was amiss in a house (even when we were impressed and couldn't see its limitations). She also made us make an appropriate offer that got us the house against competing bids. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their agent.

Carla Videira was our buyers agent and if it wasn't for her, we never would have seen our dream home, as she was the one who found the listing, got us in to see the house a few hours later, and then ultimately negotiated the contract for us. Once we were under contract, we then enlisted the help of Kristy Moyssiadis as our sellers agent. Since we were already under contract on our dream home, selling our home in a timely manner was important. Kristy was able to get us under contract in less than a week for asking price.
