ZillowVERIFIEDCari guided me through my first property sale and was extremely helpful during the inevitable bumps in the road. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommended!
ZillowVERIFIEDThis is the third time we have needed a real estate agent to help us with a property and every time Cari has exceeded our expectations. She's very responsive and accessable. She knows the local market very well, and speaks honestly. No exaggerations or 'salesman' speak, it's refreshing. She even had suggestions for contractors for work we needed help with. I've recommended her to friends, all of whom thanked me and raved about her assistance.
ZillowVERIFIEDCari is an absolute pleasure work with. Her kindness and understanding as we wrestled with which state to retire to was exactly what we needed. When we ultimately deciding on a Hood Canal home we knew Cari would fight for a fair price in a tough and daunting market. Cari went above and beyond with her willingness to assist us as buyers who were not local to the area where we were property shopping. Her knowledge and experience with real estate markets and all that comes with that - home prices, construction practices, fluctuating interest rates, creative financial and loan options, etc. have made my husband and I huge fans of Cari. Cari is trustworthy, conscientious, considerate, understanding, and patient. Her efforts on our behalf afforded us a dream home in a dream location. We highly recommend Cari Shumaker to anyone looking for a 5-star realtor with 5-star service!
ZillowVERIFIEDCari was absolutely wonderful to work with. She worked hard, was timely, responsible and had good knowledge of the area. She helped us sell and then to buy. Family helped when needed and they had same traits as Cari. Great group to work with. We are thankful we found her. Thank you Cari!
ZillowVERIFIEDMy husband and I couldnt be more happy with our home buying experience, and Cari is the reason for it! Cari has consistently gone over and above to help us throughout the process, she was extremely responsive and helpful. She also helped with all the negotiations, which was of great comfort to us as we navigated through all the challenges. I highly recommend Cari to anyone buying or selling their home!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe decided to sell our rental and Cari helped us and made recommendations on how we can make improvements to have the place more enticing to prospective buyers. We followed her advice and we received 11 offers way above the asking price. I highly recommend Cari! Shes going to be my go to realtor from now on. Thank you, Cari.
ZillowVERIFIEDWords are not adequate to fully describe our experience with the purchase of our new home. Every bump was immediately smoothed by Cari! Every hairpin turn was immediately straightened by Cari. As a military family, we moved 19 times and since retirement we have moved an additional 6 times. In all of our moves, all over the world, we have NEVER had a more efficient, knowledgable or caring broker.
ZillowVERIFIEDCari was friendly and very professional while she handled the sale of our home! She made the process as painless as possible and was a huge help to us since we had to handle the transaction from out of state.
ZillowVERIFIEDCari helped my husband and I find a house while we were on the other side of the country. She helped make this process an easy one with great communication. I also felt like she was open about possible issues with the properties she showed virtually. This was especially helpful being on the other side of the country. I highly recommend her!
ZillowVERIFIEDCari made this home buying experience an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. I was consistently impressed with her level of knowledge, and genuine concern and respect for my wishes. I would highly recommend her with that reservation to any perspective home buyers. They will not be disappointed!
ZillowVERIFIEDCari was absolutely amazing. She was patient with us throughout our purchasing process. I've already started recommending her to anyone we know. She is very responsive, and has a ton of local knowledge. Very professional!

Buying a home can be overwhelming and it was great to be able to depend on someone that you trust. Her attitude and professionalism is unparalleled. She helped to navigate all of the hurdles of the process and did a great job of negotiating the price. I can't say enough about her friendly and fun personality and her stellar work ethic. I will definitely use her again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIEDCari was great, she was nice and also able to work with my crazy shedule. As a first time home buyer her honest feed back and knowledge was a blessing. I truly felt she was on my side through the whole thing, instead of someone who was trying to make a quick buck. I appreciate the hard work and time she spent helping me and my daughter purchase our first home.
ZillowVERIFIEDCari did a great job for us when we sold our house. She took care of everything. Anytime I had any questions, a quick call or text to her was all it took. She responded immediately. She was very professional and polite and never acted like I might be calling too much or asking too many questions!! I definitely recommend Cari if you want to buy or sell a house. I know she will work hard for you. Thank you Cari.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe are first time homebuyers and Cari has been nothing but helpful, responsive, and competent. Our homebuying experience took a little longer than anyone expected, but she stuck with us the whole way through and made it as painless as possible. Will definitely recommend her to others as they start looking!
ZillowVERIFIEDCari and her team at TLC real estate we're thorough and honest before, during, and after the sale of our house. Cari is extremely personable and attentive to details. I always felt she had our best interest in mind and was great at communicating. If we ever are in need of a real estate agent again, Cari will be our first call!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe recently sold our house with Cari Shumaker from Real Estate by TLC. Before selling we made several repairs to the home. We had both Cari and Shannan Laudet walk through the house prior to repairs. They gave us insight on what repairs would give us the best return on investment. They quickly eliminated things we thought were necessary and helped us identify other problems that as owners we just didn't see anymore, real eyesores. Their expertise saved us thousands and gave us clear goals to accomplish. They both checked in several times throughout the months it took to do the repairs and gave helpful tips along the way. We were impressed when the inspections came that there weren't any issues that had not been addressed by both Shannan and Cari. When we were ready to put the house on the market Cari was Amazing! She was absolutely vigilant in getting our house sold! She worked tirelessly to keep our house at the top of the market. It seemed like every forum you could think of was used to showcase and highlight our home. The photographer they used took phenomenal pictures! The stager they recommended did a wonderful job! The home was just beautiful! Each open house was well advertised and very well attended. Cari made personal calls and sent emails to so many realtors to keep their buyers apprised to the progress of the house. When in negotiations with the potential buyers and in the resulting sale of the house Cari was very professional and her experience was showcased. It seemed she always knew what the next best step was (not only in negotiations, but throughout the whole process). She was always diligent to understand exactly what we wanted to do before communicating those intentions with the buyers. She negotiated very well. We don't think we could have done any better on the sale.We were so impressed with Cari and all of TLC! Thank you Cari, Shannan, and TLC for making this process so much easier. We will be recommending yall to everyone we know!
ZillowVERIFIEDI don't usually write reviews, but buying a house is a big commitment. Pretty much other than having children, it's the largest commitment I've made. This is the second home Cari has found for me that I purchased. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the process and how to help me get exactly what I needed. Twice. Doesn't get easier than that! Thanks Cari!
ZillowVERIFIEDI am a first time home buyer and a single mother of two teenage boys. I needed the perfect home. Cari was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during all phases of the buying process, explained each step thoroughly, and drove over two hours to meet with me while we looked at houses. Her dedication went above and beyond my expectations. There was no hidden agenda or fees; only up front honesty! Cari was very conscientious of my budget, circumstances and 'must haves'! Cari was also very punctual when returning messages and phone calls. She never made me wait! I highly recommend Cari Shumaker and will most definitely use her services in the future. Thank you so much Cari! You made this whole process seem like a picnic! And I have a beautiful home with a view that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!
ZillowVERIFIEDCari is efficient and knowledgeable. When I ask her a question, she is quick to answer. If she doesnt have the answer right then, she researches it for me and is quick to get back to me. I highly recommend Cari as a realtor. She wont let you down thats for sure.
