ZillowVERIFIED We were referred to Cari by our real estate agent in Bend, OR during our move earlier this year. Cari's knowledge of the neighborhoods, attentiveness to our needs and connections with a solid lender really helped us find and close on a home quickly. Cari is one of the most direct and to-the-point people I've met. She clearly has knowledge of the home buying process through and through and is great at facilitating a hands off, home buying experience. This is a really good thing if you need someone to manage the details for you because you're moving in from out of town or have a crazy work schedule. She's on point and get's things done. Being results driven, sometimes information about the process wasn't clear to us and we felt she should have given us more explanation about the process and why we needed to move through each step, but, because she's so responsive, all it took was shooting her a text or email with our questions and she was on it! During the last few stages of the buying process, we ran into some pricing issues for the stone and landscaping and started working directly with the builder to get them resolved. After a few conversations back and forth we had to stop talking directly to the builder and let Cari do what she's good at - she handled things really well and got us exactly what we wanted without all the headache we were facing working direct. If you're looking for a real estate agent and you're moving into the Tri-Cities from somewhere else - I highly recommend her. When we buy our next house, we will definitely use her again.

ZillowVERIFIED I've been renting my home in Washington for the last 5 years, and now that I live in Ohio, I was dreading the time when my tenant moved out and I had to sell. I tried selling before renting back in 2012, but had no luck. I met Cari through a former coworker and we talked about my options in selling when the time came, as my tenant was a few months away from moving out. I flew out to inspect the home and meet with Cari, where she took the time to meet me and answer any questions I had, even though this sale wouldn't be happening anytime soon. Flash forward several months, when my house was finally ready to prepare to list. My house was listed, and I received a full price offer in 26 hours! Cari took care of everything so I didn't have to fly out again. All the work needed to have the house listed, and the few issues that came up after inspection were taken care of promptly and bills sent to me. She was there every step of the way, professionally reassuring, and always with an answer to any question or concern I had, of which there were many. Two days ago we closed, and the house is completely out of my hands and off my mind. It still doesn't seem real, because the process was so much easier than I had ever expected, and far less stressful. I have no doubt that this is due mostly to the hard work Cari put in, and her experience and knowledge in what she does. She loves what she does, and that's why she's so good at it. ZillowVERIFIED I was given Cari's name by my boss after I told him how much work I was doing for the realtor I was working with--I had to compile a list of homes I wanted to see and then meet him if he could make time for me. Cari contacted me within moments of leaving a message on her website, and we set up an appointment to see a house for that evening. She gave me good advice on the house, and I left knowing a little more about what to look for in a house, especially an older home. Over the next few weeks, we visited several homes, but the real work came when my husband got to town. She had a list of homes for us to look at, and we found one the first day we loved and put an offer on it. Sadly, the couple who owned the home felt that, since we'd made an offer so quickly, they could probably get more and sharply increased the price. No worries--we were back out the next day, and we found another house, this one even better than the previous one. Cari negotiated with the seller's realtor so we would be allowed to store our household goods in the garage until the sale was complete, which saved us $$ in storage and transport fees. She walked us through all the paperwork and was very patient with our lender, who had new requirements that we'd never encountered before (I've been working with this lender for decades). At the closing, we were surprised by the WA requirement to register the sale before we got the keys, as we had a carpet cleaner coming at noon. Cari met us at the house and let the gentleman in, and texted me within an hour to let me know that the house was now fully ours and we could keep the key. She texted me again a few days later to see if we needed anything, and she had given us a lovely card on the morning of the closing welcoming us to our new city. Cari McGee is a great realtor, fun to work with, full of information and history about the Tri-Cities area, and she made this whole experience, which could have been pretty stressful, more like a day spent with friends. She shares the wisdom and experience she has gained throughout her career and gives really sound advice in a cheerful tone and with a constant, very reassuring smile. We highly recommend Cari McGee to anyone contemplating a move to/from the Tri-Cities area. She ROCKS!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED I was a fIrst time home buyer moving to Richland, WA for work. Cari was very responsive when scheduling time to look at homes, and provided valuable input comparing different properties and assessing the tradeoffs. The first offer I submitted was reviewed in person, allowing me to ask questions about each line, as needed. Future offers were prepared quickly and submitted with all appropriate addenda electronically. I was trying to find a home and close on a fairly tight schedule, and towards the end of the process failed to recognize that I was going to go past my deadline. I would have like for Cari to say "because of the counteroffer process, the closing date will realistically be two weeks past the original closing date." Which was apparent, but might have caused me to go a different way with respect to housing. Overall, I found a home which met all my criteria, in an area I like, at a price I was happy with. Cari was a knowledgeable and sociable, which really helped me as a young first time buyer in particular. I would recommend her to someone else.
