    About Bruce Jones

    Bruce earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 1989. Bruce is a Nashville area native and grew up in Robertson County with family roots dating back to the 1700s. Interesting Fact: James K Polk appointed a family cousin to the PostMaster General in the mid-1800s when he introduced the postage stamp. His great-grandmother graduated from Peabody College (now Vanderbilt) in the late 1800s. Bill Jones Industrial Blvd in Springfield, TN was named after his Grandfather. Bruce has always lived in the Nashville area and now resides in Franklin. Bruce's real estate career started when he flipped his first house at age 19. Years later he obtained his license and sold hundreds of homes with a 20-year career at RE/MAX. He developed a team (Exceptional Living Group) of seasoned agents who were recruited to Compass in 2019 and are recognized as one of the top teams in the country. With over 30 years of experience, Bruce brings a vast knowledge of real estate coupled with middle Tennessee knowledge/geographics. In addition to selling residential real estate, Bruce has developed, designed, and financed the build-out of dozens of homes. He has led his venture capitalist group to develop and build a large array of successful projects in the area. Bruce has a strong background in insurance/claims experience with years of corporate experience. He has closed hundreds of millions of area transactions since obtaining his real estate license in 1996 with a Broker's license in 2007.

    Will private listing hurt my sale?

    No, especially in this market. It has worked very well for my sellers. Never an issue.
