She was so knowledgeable about the home buying process! After getting an idea of what we were looking for and showing us the homes we picked out to see, we were very disappointed as they did not look as great in person vs the pictures. Thankfully she was able to get an idea of what we wanted from our comments, so we were so excited when she started picking homes to show us! They were absolutely perfect, and she helped us find THE ONE. We became very emotional throughout the home buying process due to my son's death and Brooke was not uncomfortable as I sobbed and argued with my husband, nor did she shy away from my grief. She was able to comfort us and calm whatever storm we threw at her and she was able to make my husband laugh (usually impossible to make him smile) and he felt very comfortable speaking with her which he does not usually trust salespeople. She was our rock during what was the most emotional move ever. She is amazing and her energy and humor are an added bonus to her intelligence and how well she advocates for her clients. ZillowVERIFIED When I first met with Brooke, my then husband and I were getting ready to separate. During the meeting it was apparent why we were separating as unfortunately my ex husband was attempting to rope Brooke in the middle of our failing relationship rather than the sake of our home. He was very demanding and insufferable. He insisted Brooke come over immediately to look at our house, even through inclement weather. Brooke came to view the home. She was professional, kept her composure, and was able to navigate the meeting, even through the demeaning comments, hostility, and insults towards me. He decided to stay in the home and I moved out. Fast forward a few years and due to some bad financial choices, ex was forced to sell the marital home. This was an extremely difficult situation due to his hostile behavior towards me and wanted everything to be aEURoehis way.aEUR? Brooke had the ability to reason with him, talk him down, be a neutral party, and worked to get ex to cooperate with the court order. To say this least, this was no easy task. I'm thankful for Brookes help to navigate the tricky and difficult circumstances I was in. We were able to get the maximum price for our home rather than having to drop the price and lose equity due to the divorce.

ZillowVERIFIED Brooke really pushed herself on us and wanted to help us find a home. When we locked in with her, there was always an issue with meeting up with her. Either she was unavailable after 4pm or not available on the weekends. My first home purchase was a complete disaster, and she left me hanging multiple times on any update, but would contact only my boyfriend who was not going to be buying the home. In fact, she advised me to not put him on the mortgage or deed because aEURoenothing lasts foreveraEUR?. Upon final inspection of the home, she did not do anything to help when the house was left in complete disarray and just overwhelming dirty, and lied and said it was clean. (I was unable to attend due to work, and I trusted her judgement which I should have not.) When the house finally closed a month later than expected, she did not say thank you, no card, nothing. She completely vanished. She was in it only for the commission, and just wanted the house to close with no care about the home we were left with and all the problems left unresolved.

A family member reached out to Brooke after reading about her. Brooke was told of my current situation and immediately began to help. I was always a renter and thought I would never be able to purchase a home so when my family member told me about the conversation she had with Brooke, I called her with a bit of apprehension since I didn't want to get too excited. Brooke asked what I was looking for in a home and then educated me on becoming a home owner instead of a renter. I was shocked to learn that purchasing a home was something I could definitely do and was not as difficult as I thought it would be! She assisted me in getting in contact with a few lenders who discussed my options with me and explained what they could offer me if I chose to use them as the lender. We went to view a few houses and Brooke took the time to ask my teenage boys what they wanted in a home and what they liked in each home. I was very pleased by this because with all that was going on it was the one thing I did not think to do-get their input. I also was impressed by Brooke's knowledge of the subdivisions that had homes for sale in them. Brooke took all of what the boys and I wanted and the last time we went to view homes she brought us to a home that had everything we said was important. Not only was it everything we wanted and it was a perfect neighborhood. We were so happy with Brooke my oldest son said to me when he is ready to buy a home he wants Brooke to be his realtor. She had helped a couple of my co-workers find their homes. She got us set up with a wonderful mortgage broker and helped us every step of the way. We gave her our price range and where we wanted to be. She set us up with an app and got us started. She always gave us the facts on homes we looked at such as this one is in a flood zone or that one is on a road that is scheduled to be widing so we would loose some of the land to the city. ZillowVERIFIED We would not recommend using Brooke as your realtor. She helped us submit an offer on a house in N. Topsail and we appreciated that. We made the mistake of signing an exclusive agreement with her. Things went downhill after that. We wanted to submit a bid for a great deal on a house in Newport. We learned from the listing agent that she had never submitted our final bid and that the agent had been calling her for it. She lied to us and told her the bid was submitted. We were SO disappointed that we lost the house. She didn't even call us to explain what happened. We contacted her broker-in-charge and made our complaint to him. She must have been instructed to send us an email. The email was not truthful and she didn't even apologize.ADVICE FOR BROOKE: Listen to your clients needs and what they are searching for. Don't try to steer your clients to more expensive homes that aren't in their budget. Be truthful. Also return phone calls. We all make mistakes but admitting it will help you grow professionally and personally.

This is the 4th home we've purchased and we have NEVER had so much DRAMA!!! I personally had to contact the buyers attorney to find out when closing was because she refused to give me information unless it was encrypted realtor talk or talking in circles. She contacted our buyers and moved our closing date after we instructed her not to. After the sale was final we spoke to our buyers and apologized for all of the confusion and they confirmed all and more of our suspicions about how unorganized and spotty this process was. If you want drama Brooke is your girl!! Otherwise say yourself time, effort and confusion and go with someone else.

She was the listing agent for a home that we wanted to see and not having an agent yet I just gave her a call and scheduled an appointment to see the listing. That did not turn out to be our dream home but Brooke did turn out to be our dream agent; she just clicked with us. She showed us several listings until we found the right one. Brooke was very helpful in arranging the home inspection and handling all our questions and needs to close on our new vacation home and on time! Brooke is the best and I highly recommend her. ZillowVERIFIED My wife and two college aged children decided on a whim to go on a road trip down the Emerald Island area to view homes for sale. This was on a Saturday afternoon, not much time for any agent to prepare. Just by chance we contacted Brooke who was very willing to drop her plans and start looking for homes. We arrived in the area late Saturday and by Sunday morning Brook had a line up of homes that matched our criteria. She then proceeded to spend most of the day driving from one house to the next being very patient and pleasant listening to our thoughts and adjusting her schedule accordingly. Brooke is so knowledgeable of the area, has a lot of insight and a sense of humor to boot. To say the least it was a great experience! My family and I want to thank her for taking the time away from her family to do this for complete strangers. ZillowVERIFIED If you are looking to buy a house Brooke Pollard is your girl! Me and my fiance have been house hunting for a few months. We were a little weary about house buying at first after all the "realtor horror stories" we have heard from family and friends. However, Brooke has been sooo AMAZING!!! She listened to what we wanted and she didn't stop until she found our dream home. We haven't been the easiest to deal with either. Everytime she would find a house that was exactly what we asked for, it just didn't feel like home to us. That didn't stop her. She kept helping us hunt through house after house until she finally found exactly what we were looking for! IM FOR REAL, CHOOSE BROOKE!!! Do it right the first time instead of getting a crappy person first before finding her.
