Before starting to see homes or falling in love with a home you see online, make sure to talk to a lender to make sure your budget aligns with your dreams. Ask your Realtor about their recommended lenders as some of the bigger names will overcharge you or not be in your best interest.

The market is ever changing. A home is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Sometimes it is hard to leave emotions out of the process, but in order to make the most money in the fastest amount of time, listen to the advise of your Realtor, especially in a tricky market.

I have worked with a variety of clients from first time buyers/sellers, military relocation, inner-state relocation, divorce sales, short sales and more. While I am happy to work with any kind of client, first time home buyers and military relocation are my specialties.

I was the showing agent for another Realtor about a year ago. She received a lead through Zillow but needed someone else to show a few properties to them as she was unavailable. The buyer decided to rent for another year and never signed anything with the Realtor who received the online lead. I sold a property to another couple and they ended up recommending me to that same buyer a year later and we are now under contract for a house for him and his fiance. Now I am attending their wedding and have created a great relationship with them. Crazy how the world works sometimes!

After 15 years in the event management business, I was looking for a career that could soar me to new heights in life. Having had friends in the industry, I was encouraged to check it out and I am so glad I did as it has opened up doors I could never have imagined, figuratively and literally.

In addition to my annual continuing education courses, I have also done some military relocation training for certification. Looking forward to expanding my certifications as the years go by.
