When purchasing a home, we did not feel pressured to buy just any house on the marketaEUR"Forrest understood what we were looking for, and showed us the types of homes we were interested in. Before we purchased a home, Forrest also provided professional and knowledgeable home inspectors who were able to give us advice and answer our questions. When we went into escrow, Forrest helped us negotiate a successful sale. We wanted certain things fixed or upgraded; he gave his opinion as to whether the seller would agree to do so. Forrest always responded to our enquiries within minutesaEUR"day or night. He was in constant touch with our lender, letting us know if things were needed from us and keeping us informed as to the loan progress. After purchasing our new home, some minor problems came up. For instance, one door was not closing correctly, and the water heater was not heating water too well. Forrest sent a handyman who fixed both issues without any cost to us. When it came time to sell our old home, Forrest did a great job making it saleable, recommending what should be done to spruce it up at a reasonable cost. For instance, we replaced bathroom vanities, fixtures, dining and hallway lights, carpeting, and had the entire interior repainted. We thought about replacing appliances and floor tiles, but Forrest indicated buyers wished to choose their own, thus saving us money. ZillowVERIFIED We just closed escrow on a historical home in Palos Verdes and I cant say enough good things about Cari and Britt. My husband and I felt that we were so well represented and put 100% of our trust in Cari and Britt during the difficult negotiation process. They were present for every inspection which was so important because they spoke with each inspector so they had first hand information about the issues with the home and were able to help us decide how we wanted to move forward. Simply put, they were so accessible and available. Since the escrow has closed there have been a few issues with the condition of the house and they have been working alongside us trying to come up with solutions. Its nice to know that even though the escrow has closed, they are still working just as hard to make sure that everything is buttoned up and we are satisfied. Now that we have purchased our new home, Cari and Britt are helping us with cosmetic changes to get our previous home ready for the market. As a seller it is hard to prioritize what changes will really make an impact on the sales price of a house. They have gone through many scenarios with different amounts to spend on improvements and together we have come up with a plan for what we think is a good amount to spend to get our maximum return when we sell.
