ZillowVERIFIEDHighest Recommendation for Britnee Underwood After spending nearly, a quarter of a century as a real estate owner, I have worked with countless agents, each bringing their own strengths to the table. Yet, none has reached the extraordinary heights of professionalism, prowess, and dedication that Britnee exhibits in every aspect of her work. It is my sincere wish that the world recognizes her exceptional qualifications and invaluable skills, so I write this letter as a public testament to her outstanding service. From my first interaction, it was clear that her knowledge of the real estate market is vast and precise. Her ability to navigate complex transactions with confidence and accuracy is matched only by her efficiency and attention to detail. In my two transactions together, she has been consistently on time and proactive, always ready to address every concern and question with clarity and assurance. Her communication skills are unmatched. She is not only well-read and articulate, but she has a rare gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. Her positive attitude and encouragement create an atmosphere of trust, making every step of the process smooth and reassuring. The way she maintains affluent, timely, and open lines of communication is, in my experience, a trait seldom found among other agents. What truly sets her apart, Britnee, is her unwavering commitment to going above and beyond in every circumstance. Whether it provides insightful guidance, taking extra steps to ensure that every detail is managed flawlessly, or simply being present and attentive, consistently exceeds expectations. Her active engagement with clients and her drive to deliver excellence in every facet make her not only a consummate professional but also an absolute pleasure to work with. It is with utmost confidence and enthusiasm that I recommend her to anyone in need of a highly qualified, reliable, and personable real estate agent. Thank you, Britnee, for setting the gold standard in real estate and for making every experience exceptional. I am grateful for all that she has done, and I hope that this endorsement will help others recognize her remarkable talent and dedication. With sincere appreciation and highest regard, Yikaalo Samson Gebreselassie
ZillowVERIFIEDGreat experience from start to finish with Britnee. Britnee was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire selling process. She communicated clearly, handled everything efficiently, and helped us achieve a successful sale. We truly appreciated the guidance and patience during this process.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee did an excellent job during the entire process. She made great recommendations and provided an thorough evaluation of the neighborhood with helpful comps. I would work with her again in a heartbeat
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee did an excellent job during the entire process. She made great recommendations and provided an thorough evaluation of the neighborhood with helpful comps. I would work with her again in a heartbeat
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee was outstanding to work with! She educated me, listened to my goals and helped me strategize for a great outcome. Also, she was very sensitive to my emotional attachment to the 100+ year old family home we listed. She managed a total renovation of my home- scheduling all work/vendors. The finished product was beyond my imagination and UNDER budget! Most importantly, our house sold WELL ABOVE asking! Our goals were well exceeded. My favorite thing about this labor of love, was that we felt like Britnee's only client, she is thorough, responsive and a lovely human being. I totally recommend working with Britnee and her team!
ZillowVERIFIEDI had a great experience working with Britnee to buy my first home. She understood what I was looking for and was able to surface properties that met my needs. She was quick to respond and quick to show up on site if we needed to visit a property or I missed an open house. A very professional and knowledgeable agent.
ZillowVERIFIEDI worked with Britnee and Andrew in 2019 to buy my first house. They were very supportive, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Andrew's construction experience was very helpful when I asked him questions before the sale about potential upgrades for the future. He gave me realistic and practical suggestions. And they are still helping me, years later, when I ask them for referrals for housing-related specialists for myself, friends, and family for things such as fence repair, handyperson work, mold and soil testing, plumbing, and window repair.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee did an outstanding job assisting us with the purchase of our condo. Her expertise in the market was instrumental while our research. Britnee was very involved in offer making and all closing processes. This is our first condo and we did not know any of the procedures which can be very overwhelming and complicated. Britnee was very patient with us and super helpful along the way. She had been very responsive, friendly and always had the answers and good advices to our millions of questions. She did regular check ins with us which was very motivating and engaging for us. Thank you very much Britnee. I do not know what we would do if we did not meet you by chance. We were very lucky to get to work with you.
ZillowVERIFIEDIt was such a pleasure working with Britnee! Britnee was knowledgeable and so generous in sharing her knowledge with us. Starting with the first house we viewed together, she taught us how to look at the foundation of a home, seismic retrofitting needs, and potential water damage. We learned to not fall for the shiny new fixtures and tile, but to look for meaningful upgrades that improve the condition of the home and, typically, cost more. She was also very knowledgeable about the housing market, in many areas including Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Richmond Annex, and Oakland. Britnee made us feel like we had a partner in our home search. We regularly shared new listings with her and vice versa and received feedback. She was flexible in scheduling to meet with us to view different homes during the week, in the evenings, and weekends. Luckily, she prevented us from getting too excited and overpaying on a home given neighborhood comps. We felt so lucky to work with someone who was patient, knowledgeable, and excellent in negotiating.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee was absolutely amazing to work with. I am a person that is extremely particular and she exceeded my expectations every step of the way during the purchase of my multi-unit home. Definitely a 10/10 in my book.
ZillowVERIFIEDI had a great experience working with Britnee through the process of buying my first home. I did not have any knowledge of how to go about the process and Britnee was patient with me at every step, providing a breakdown of everything I would expect in the lending and escrow process, options on lenders knowledgeable with the Oakland market, and extra information on any properties I was interested in. She was also very quick and communicative with all the questions I had and would be able to make herself available when needed if I wanted tours of certain properties and even more so in the closing/escrow process. I greatly appreciate all of her efforts and work to make my first-time home-buying process easy and smooth, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy/sell their home in the Oakland/East Bay area. I would definitely work with her again in the future!
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee is a gem of a real estate professional. I would highly recommend her without hesitation to my closest friends and family. Britnee and Andy helped me navigate several real estate transactions in the Bay Area and were invaluable in the process. From buying my first condo in the East Bay in 2017 to buying a single family home in Novato in Marin last year, they always focused on helping us make decisions that were best for us in the long run. We had lots of questions about the entire process, and they gave us insightful, realistic advice without pressuring us to make specific decisions or move at a fast pace if it didnt feel right to us. Last year, when we decided to pivot and move our single family home search from the East Bay to Marin, Britnee seamlessly pivoted with us. She showed equal expertise in the North Bay market, and I believe that her exceptional communication and ability to negotiate helped us to land a deal on our home here in Marin. On top of all of that, when we decided to rent out our old condo rather than sell, Britnee and Andys team took care of everything including the listing, screening applicants, showing the condo to potential tenants, and coordinating move-in and monthly property management. It was totally stress-free for me. I am incredibly grateful to have had their support throughout all of my Bay Area real estate decisions.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee and Andy did an amazing job assisting me with the sale of my condo. Their willingness and ability to manage all aspects of the prep and sale was outstanding. As a team, Britnee and Andy took the time to present various options and provided great advice from the beginning until the end of the process. As a first time seller, I had a lot of questions. Britnee's patience and professionalism really helped make everything go smoothly for me.
ZillowVERIFIEDI had a fantastic experience working with Britnee to buy my first home. She was super knowledgeable about the area and patient with me as I navigated the process for the first time. She was direct and straightforward about challenges and opportunities and made me feel like she had my best interest in mind. Throughout the process, she thoughtfully balanced my need for the house to be both my home and an investment, and she made sure I understood where various options fell on that spectrum. She was also super responsive and helpful in explaining things as they came up. My budget was very tight, which was challenging in this market, but Britnee made me feel as important as clients with much larger budgets. I can't recommend her highly enough.
ZillowVERIFIEDVery caring, personable, and professional. Helped us to buyout a long term tenant via a negotiator, remodel our rental home extremely tastefully at an affordable price. Then he was able to attract, attract, attract buyers to our rental home. Got top dollar smoothly and comfortably. He is the G.O.A.T. real estate agent. The "Tom Brady" of real estate.
ZillowVERIFIEDThis is the second time that we have worked with Andy and Britnee to purchase a replacement property for a 1031 exchange. The time frame for naming a replacement property is only 45 days, so it makes the process a bit nerve wracking, especially in such a crazy market. His team is extremely knowledgeable and well connected, so was able to refer us to the right lenders, exchange companies, contractors, roofers, etc. He understood our needs and helped us to narrow down the kind of property that would be a good fit. We were able to have an accepted offer, after only making two. He also went above and beyond by making sure that necessary repairs were made to the roof, by the Seller, prior to the close of escrow. I am very pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andy Pitarre for any and all of your Real Estate needs.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee is amazing! She helped my husband and I purchase the perfect house for our family. As first time home buyers we knew very little and had a million questions. Britnee walked us through every step of the process..start to finish. She listened to what we wanted/needed and took us straight to the home that we are currently living in now. Since we chose to go with a new constitution build Britnee warned us of possible delays and suggested we plan ahead. She couldnt have been more accurate. Britnee knows what shes talking about! Not only was she spot on about everything but she successfully negotiated everything we asked for. She is extremely knowledgeable, responsive and professional. It was a pleasure working with Britnee and we look forward to purchasing our next property with her.
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee was an absolute joy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. She was extremely reliable and responsive throughout our search for our first home in Oakland. When it came to making offers she was extremely thoughtful in her recommendations, helping us to weigh all options with realistic expectations. She is kind, sweet, and smart and was a very lovely person to work with. If we get the chance, we would love to work with her again!
ZillowVERIFIEDI am so glad I chose to work with Britnee to renovate and sell my home. From day one when they came to check out the house, Britnee and Andy were honest, friendly, competent and responsive. I didn't want to be super involved in the process, so they took over and proposed a renovation plan and budget to prepare the house and property for sale. With my approval there, they laid out the schedule and began. The project itself was smooth sailing and came in right on budget. Britnee and Andy brought in and managed all the professionals involved in the project - it was truly a turnkey service. The house went on the market in early December with a beautiful listing, received 10+ offers and definitively proved the return on investment of hiring Britnee and Andy. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
ZillowVERIFIEDI loved working with these folks! They were so wonderful to work with when I bought my condo that I went back to them when I decided to sell it four years later. They have knowledge depth and experience in Bay Area home sales and took care of details that made both buying and selling my condo simple and easy. And if I decide to buy in the Bay again, I'll go right back to Andy and Britnee for help. I highly recommend them if you want an easy, no hassles experience, AND someone who watches out for your interests as a buyer/seller.
ZillowVERIFIEDAs a first time home buyer who is a woman of color, I was incredibly nervous about the home purchasing process, so I was fortunate when I met Britnee at an open house in Oakland. Right away, she answered many of my novice questions with understanding and clear, concise explanations. From there, we spoke frequently on the phone so she could better understand what I was looking for, and so I could learn how to purchase a home. She was always thoughtful of my time and accommodating of my schedule. Within 5 months of starting our conversations, I closed on an adorable 2-bedroom house built in the early 1900s in North Oakland with all the perfect embellishments (such as a coffered ceiling, antique-style gas fireplace, sliding french doors, wainscoting, etc.) that make it feel like a home instead of a cookie-cutter condo. As a buyer or seller, if youre looking for an agent that is professional yet personable; has access to a large network of lenders, title companies, home inspectors, and contractors; and answers your questions and gets you information thoroughly but also efficiently, I highly recommend Britnee. Her and her counterpart, Andy, at Anthony Associates are a super duo, and I am forever grateful to them.
ZillowVERIFIEDOur respect and trust in Andy is doubly reinforced given the full circle we have gone through with him. In 2010, we had very limited funds to work with, yet Andy wisely and expertly guided us in the purchase ...
ZillowVERIFIEDAndy and Britnee are an amazing team that I would gladly do business with again. We met at a neighbor's open house and I was impressed with their professionalism and down-to-earth nature. I was ready to sell a few months later and they immediately got to work formulating a timeline and plan. They were easy to work with and had a clear vision on improvements to be made to my property to make it more buyer-friendly, with adjustments where needed for my personal budget. Though I opted to do a number of the improvements myself, their full-service team is available to make the preparation stage totally seamless. Marketing is done extremely well, and they were able to garner an impressive response before my property was officially listed, which helped to drive buzz and lots of potential buyers. The sale went smoothly and I got a great selling price, and the new owners got a wonderful, turn-key condo to call home!Highly recommended for a start-to-finish experience!
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee provided a high quality, professional level of service during our home shopping and buying process. She went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable through our buying process. We were referred to Britnee by a friend and have already referred two more friends to her to help with home purchasing.Britnee patiently guided us through our first home buying experience including helping us learn more about how to select a home for our needs and write our first offers. After we had an offer accepted we had some difficulties with the sellers performance through the close of escrow. Britnee stepped in to push action on the other side of the transaction when we realized that the seller was falling behind on work scheduled to finish before COE. Britnee effectively project managed the contractors hired by the seller to ensure that any outstanding work was fully completed. She has continued to be a supportive reference point for us, even after the we've moved into the house.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe had a great experience with Andy! He made the whole process as smooth and pain free as possible. He was always available and had great knowledge of the market. We would definitely use him again!
ZillowVERIFIEDAndrew made the process really smooth. While we ended up putting more into the house before the sale than expected, the return was impressive. We were very pleased with the ultimate sale price! He knows his stuff!
ZillowVERIFIEDAnthony Associates is simply awesome! They helped us purchase our first home and made it seamless. Britnee helped us and was very transparent, organized and really great at communicating the processes. She was also available for any and all questions (I had a lot, ha!). I would definitely use them again for my next home purchase. Thank you again, Britnee!
ZillowVERIFIEDCombined, my wife and I have sold and purchased homes four times and we have learned about a few of the pitfalls of doing so through our experiences. I say this to say that we are not the easiest customers for real estate professionals. We are extremely picky, thorough, and totally intolerant of any trace of BS.Andy and his colleague, Britnee, were excellent partners in selling our home and purchasing a new one. They quickly responded to all of our calls; were patient and extremely informative (Andy is a former contractor) in accompanying us at at least forty (40) open houses; and, were very sincere in making sure that we found a house that excited us.We were most impressed by Andy and Britnee's sincerity. There are ALWAYS hiccups in these transactions. Whenever we ran into challenges, there were NEVER excuses or blame-shifting from Andy or Britnee; we simply acknowledged where we were and adjusted our tactics to reach our goals.A very clear example of Andy and Britnee's profound dedication to our happiness is that after nearly six months of selling and searching for a home, when we were three days from closing on our new home, Andy noticed a potential problem in the house during his final walk through. Instead of downplaying it to close the sale, he and Britnee immediately scheduled and executed very detailed inspections of the potential problem. Fortunately, it was not a real issue, and we closed the purchase on schedule. We are extremely grateful for the work that Andy and Britnee did in helping us sell our home and buy a new one. We recommend them without reservation.
ZillowVERIFIEDAndy and Britnee went above and beyond to help us buy our home in some rather unusual circumstances. It was the first and only offer that we submitted in a highly competitive market and we couldnt be happier now that weve moved in!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Britnee to find our house for 6 weeks, and then during our closing. Britnee was so helpful in taking us to view properties and Andy was such a great resource for what to be on the lookout for in the fixer-uppers we looked at. They had a lot of insight into the neighbourhoods we were looking at, and helped expertly guide us through our first time home buying experience!
ZillowVERIFIEDAndy and his partner Britnee are an incredible team, and we can't recommend them more highly. As first-time home buyers, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the neighborhoods of Oakland and what to offer for our first and counter offers, to how to make sense of the inspection report, they were incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. Plus, they connected us to a great pair of mortgage brokers! Andy's background as a contractor is also invaluable because we knew we could trust his thoughts on the ins and outs of the house. Additionally, they bring with them connections to a whole team of contractors/workers who can help with any future work/repairs we need to do, and we know we'll be in good hands with anyone they recommend. We will definitely be recommending Andy and Britnee to anyone we know looking for a new home!
ZillowVERIFIEDSelling my home, which had been apart of our family for many generations, was very difficult for me. Andy made the process as painless as possible. He was professional, timely in his response, and worked hard to get me a great offer.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe were looking for homes in the Bay Area for a year or so, and met Andy and Britnee at an open house back in Sept 2016. Almost instantly, Andy and Britnee connected really well with us and had some great pointers for our search. We continued to look around, and spoke to many real estate agents in the East Bay, but eventually decided to reach out to Andy and Britnee to help us find our first home, as they seemed to have the right balance of being friendly and professional. As first time home buyers, there were many unknowns, questions and challenges, both around the home and financial aspects of owning a home, and the duo educated us in a clear concise manner. In this competitive market, home buying can an arduous and frustrating process. Britnee and Andy were incredibly patient, supportive and resourceful throughout the whole journey. Britnee is sharp, responsive and quick on acting on pretty much everything around this process. She was on the front lines rooting for us and accompanying us at open houses, seeing and sharing things that we wouldnt have noticed otherwise. Overall Britnee and Andy make a great team - they were incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market, clearly understood the changing neighborhoods, had great ideas around home improvements/projects and also had good contractor connections. We would definitely recommend Andy and Britnee for anyone searching for a home, especially first time home buyers who might need extra support, guidance and encouragement.
ZillowVERIFIEDIt was such a pleasure working with Andy and Britnee. Andy helped us sell our condo a few years back and then Andy and Britnee recently helped us buy a new home for our growing family. Andy was incredibly knowledgable when it came to the sale. He knew exactly what needed to be done to get top dollar and led us to a very successful sale. When we were looking to buy, Andy and Britnee were incredibly patient and responsive with us. There was never any pressure from them. Their familiarity with the neighborhoods and construction expertise was extremely helpful. In the end, they found a great opportunity that was a perfect fit for us and we were able to jump in and get the house of our dreams.
ZillowVERIFIEDAndrew Pitarre was very calm with great attention to detail. Was able to use construction expertise to help improve home for sale. Provide insight to design and sale of the home. Very professional with potential buyers.
ZillowVERIFIEDI cannot say enough good things about Andrew and Britnee. They walked me through every step of buying my first home--everything from taking plenty of time to understand my buying needs and priorities, to connecting me with trustworthy mortgage brokers to determine my buying options, to evaluating homes for possible renovation, and eventually to negotiating with the sellers of a new construction development. They exhibited the utmost expertise in every step of this process. The real estate market in the Bay Area is pretty ruthless; Andrew and Britnee and their professional contacts were the only people I encountered that I truly felt had my best interest at heart the whole time. I trust them 100%--their expertise in the field, their ability to negotiate and represent me professionally, and their commitment to helping me make decisions that were right for me, without ever feeling pressured. I feel lucky to have found Andrew and Britnee.
ZillowVERIFIEDI spent the past 4 months working with Andrew and Britnee, buying a townhouse in a new development in Oakland. The process was a little challenging in terms of dealing with building delays and such, but Andrew and Britnee where extremely responsive and positive. I appreciated their knowledge and advice when asked. I never felt pressured or any negativity from them. They were 100% supportive in all my decisions and negotiation process.
ZillowVERIFIEDI am out of town so I needed a realtor who could handle everything from getting keys from my tenants, to handling the updates and getting it ready for market, to sale and escrow. Andrew handled everything. He ran everything by me that needed approval, then solved every little problem and detail and got the condo looking great, on the market, and sold to a great couple at a great price. He was cost-conscious but did not compromise the quality so I feel really good about passing on my condo to great new owners. Can't give this guy enough praise. Truly outstanding professional.
ZillowVERIFIEDAndy is very knowledgeable about real estate in the east bay. He has an exceptional eye for detail and knows what it takes to bring a property to market for ultimate success. He was always available either by text/phone or email and did an excellent job of walking us through the process of renovation to sale.We also used Andy and Britnee when we decided to purchase our next home and again, a masterful job of negotiating was completed. He put our interest above his commission and got us a fabulous deal on a fabulous house. My "go-to" brokers.
ZillowVERIFIEDAndrew is a real estate super star. Not only did he work diligently throughout the home buying process, but has been an excellent resource in navigating the obstacles that come with purchasing a home. Andrew's deep knowledge in home construction and repair has been invaluable. Even after COE he has been tirelessly helping me with negotiating with contractors and getting the loose ends of fixing up my home prior to moving in.As a first time home buyer, working with Andrew and Britnee has been an absolute pleasure. Both are honest and always make themselves available to answer questions and provide help. I highly recommend them if you're searching for a home!
ZillowVERIFIEDBritnee Underwood and Andy Anthony Associates where are able to find the right condominium at the price the was affordable for me. Britnee was always available at anytime to show me condos that I was interested in. The whole home purchasing process was seamless and smooth. I highly recommend them if interested in purchasing a home.Jesse
ZillowVERIFIEDThese guys rock!!!! I can't say enough about Andy and Britnee! They helped me buy a home on a small budget. My buying range was short $350K and I had several requirements for prospective property, which didn't make Andy and Britnee's job easy in this run-a-way seller's market. But these guys really love their job and truly want to see people happy. They must have showed me 20+ properties and put in as many offers which, b/c of the competitive market, kept getting rejected. These guys hung in there w/ me through one offer that fell apart b/c of inspection reports and another offer that fell apart b/c of bank ineptitude. (Stay away from Wells Fargo!). What I love most about these guys are how "on-in" they are. I was working w/ King Realty before I met Andy and Brit and kept getting the run-around and lackadaisical responses. Unlike the people at King, Andy and Brit returned phone calls and texts w/in a few hours, sometimes mins. They showed me props that were in my price range and took in my needs and we went out multiple times a week. I felt like they really took me seriously--a real turnabout from my experience w/ King Realty Group who didnt seem less interested in working w/ buyers in the $300-400K than investors and buyers of high-end homes. Then when we went through the buying process, Brit and Andy gave me invaluable information and we talked out strategies for making offers, dealing w/ contingencies, etc. I felt like these guys were in my corner every step of the way. I will definitely use these guys again and recommend them to all my friends and family.
ZillowVERIFIEDAndrew worked with me for 5 months, four offers and a few "almosts" before I finally closed on a duplex in Berkeley. He knows the East Bay market very well, has a contracting background so is great at helping you visualize upgrades and estimating the costs. He is extremely savvy at reading the tea leaves in multiple-offer situations to help you pick the price point and other aspects of a competitive offer. He has worked with small condo/apartment developers so is knowledgeable about rent control, zoning and condo conversions which was important for someone like me looking for both income potential and a place to live. I highly recommend him.
ZillowVERIFIEDI connected with Andy through Zillow several years ago when I was trying to buy a condo. He was the first agent I got in touch with and I lucked out, because I was basically starting from square one in the home-buying process, and he really walked me through it all with patience and honesty. I ended up feeling like I got priced out of the market and stopped my search, but Andy was totally supportive of my decision. When my partner and I decided to buy a house this year, Andy and Britnee were right there to pick up where we left off and guide us through the differences between buying a house and buying a condo. We've received great guidance from both Andy and Britnee throughout the entire process, from search to offer to close and beyond! My partner and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
