ZillowVERIFIED We had an excellent experience working with Brette Stern on the quick sale of my mother-in-laws home. The house held many cherished memories for our family, and it was sold following the recent loss of our mother-in-law, which made the process especially emotional. She did a great job selling my condo at market value (perhaps a little above) reasonably quickly. Brette was easy to get in touch with and communicated the process to me very clearly and answered any questions that I had. I felt comfortable working with her, found her trustworthy, and found her very knowledgeable. Overall, I would highly recommend her!

ZillowVERIFIED Brette Stern sold my condo this fall. She made the entire process easy and stress-free. She was responsive and professional, making herself available to answer any questions that I had. Her advice was invaluable regarding preparation and staging of the condo as well as the listing price. She clearly delineated each of our responsibilities, and provided a specific timeline for the completion of these tasks so that I could list my condo on the desired date. Her predictions regarding the how quickly the condo would sell, the selling price, and the closing date were spot-on. I would definitely recommend others in need of a real estate agent to contact Brette Stern at Calgani Real Estate.

ZillowVERIFIED Finding and purchasing a home at the peak of a seller?s market was not an easy task. Add to that our desire to move in the shortest time possible and within a restricted area, and it becomes a real challenge. Brette got it done! She is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and extremely personable. We missed seeing a few homes because they sold so quickly. She assured us she would help us find the right one and she did! I can?t say enough positive things about our experience working with Brette. Highly recommend!

ZillowVERIFIED We were referred to Brette from a friend . We had met prior to placing the house on the market and was planning on waiting several months to actually place the house on the market . Brette contacted us earlier than we originally planned to advise us that this would be an optimal time to put the house on the market. She obviously knew her market and our house sold in six days. Brett was very diligent in all her recommendations and marketing. My wife and I would highly recommend Brette and have referred friends.

ZillowVERIFIED Brette was a tremendous partner in my house hunt. She took the time to really understand my needs and would give me the real skinny on each house I was interested in. She would frequently go and look at properties in advance and would alert me quickly to anything she saw that she thought would be a good fit. Her work saved me so much time that would?ve otherwise been wasted on visiting the wrong houses. When I finally found the right house to buy, she guided me through the process every step of the way and was very helpful in my negotiations with the seller. Brette is an A+ agent and an expert in the town of Cheshire!

ZillowVERIFIED Brette was a joy to work with during this process! She was awesome at communicating what needed to be done to our house and educating us very honestly on what our home could sell for and how long it would take. I so appreciated her thoughtfulness on the home buying process as well. Since we had to both buy and sell she was very supportive of helping us find the right fit. She didnt rush us and gave her opinion but not in a pushy way. It was a good balance for our family. She also acted with grace when our closing did not go as planned. She was great at keeping us both calm and collected and really went above and beyond to ensure we closed that day.

ZillowVERIFIED I was referred to Brette by friends who also used her to purchase their home. They could not stop praising her for making the process easy for them, and after my experience I have to say I agree. Not only was she easy to talk to, but the people she recommended to me to perform other house-buying tasks were equally awesome. As a team they all worked as well as anyone could ask for. Brette specifically always came prepared with backgrounds of the house, and scheduled showings very quickly. She was happy to respond to texts any day of the week to answer questions. I dont think I could have been in better hands. I will make sure to send anyone interested in purchasing/selling a home her way.

ZillowVERIFIED One of the things that Brette told us while we worked with her was that a realtor must adjust to the clients needs and must work in a way that is comfortable for the client. Looking back we think Brette did exactly that. My wife and I were in a house that was nice but didnt fit our needs. We wanted to find a long term home so we had a specific list of needs and we were not in a hurry. Brette heard that and was happy to work at our pace. She never pushed us into home styles or prices that we were not comfortable with. She was also always honest with her opinions. When we did finally find a house Brette switched modes right away. She did a fantastic job coordinating with all of the parties involved and pushed them all to meet their deadlines. We were very happy working with Brette and would absolutely recommend her in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Brette exceeded any of our expectations. As first time homebuyers, we were not familiar with the terminology or the process and Brette?s expertise and advice was invaluable. From the moment we called her to see if she would be the right fit for us, she went above and beyond. She?s trustworthy, responsive, endlessly patient, and incredibly generous with her time. She answered every question and explained every part of the process clearly and thoroughly. Throughout everything, we felt like Brette had our backs. When viewing potential homes she would point out potential faults that we wouldn?t have noticed (and could cost us in the long run) and would ask questions that helped us come to an informed decision. She had great recommendations for inspectors, tradesmen, and everything in between. She was always one step ahead and kept us constantly informed of what was happening. Her knowledge and honest feedback helped us get a great deal on a house we love. Thanks to Brette, we?re happily settling into our first home (with our sanity intact)! We can?t recommend her enough to anyone in the market.

ZillowVERIFIED Brette Stern was a terrific advocate for our home sale, in addition to guiding us through our subsequent purchase of a new home. Her communication with us was solid and dependable. She was comfortable giving honest feedback in any circumstance we encountered; from staging our home for sale, to what currently is available in the towns we were interested in buying, to content or style options to consider for future re-sale. Brette provided keen advice on determining the pros and cons of a specific home, which we eventually bought. It was totally the right call! Her patience with us was immeasurable (and greatly appreciated) as we vacillated on some decisions during our time together. Selling, then buying, then moving... is stressful for anyone. Brette was a calm, intelligent and resourceful presence to keep us focused throughout our experience with her. You will be well served to have Brette represent you in any transaction.

Brette did a fantastic job for us in both selling our existing home and helping us to find the perfect new home. It checked all of the boxes on our list of must haves. She did a great job of marketing and pricing our home. She was easy to work with, helpful, patient with our questions and concerns, and responsive. We were impressed with how well she understood what we were looking for in our next home and how she recognized when we had reservations about some of the homes we looked at. She encouraged us to wait for the right one and we never felt rushed. She found the perfect house for us and it was clear before we even saw it that she really knew that we would fall in love with it. She also has great local knowledge and an excellent network of connections to draw from, including service providers when it comes to home inspections and lending. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I jumped into the ocean of home buying feet first and completely clueless. I was so overwhelmed and terrified by the whole process - it was hard to know what to do and where to start! We contacted a bunch of houses that we liked and went from there. Brette called me minutes after I submitted the requests. She was so easy to talk to - friendly, personable, and knowledgeable - she listened to our requests and concerns. We signed with her and she made the daunting process easy to manage with simple step-by-step instructions. She was very honest and did not try to SELL us anything that she wouldnt want to live in herself. I appreciated her honesty - it helped relieve a lot of self-doubt. I would highly recommend Brette Stern for any of your realtor needs - whether your experienced or completely new, as we were.
