ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I know Brent from college, so when it came time for us to think about moving our family of 4 to a larger home, he was the first person we started talking to. Since we already owned our townhome, we weren?t in a huge rush and wanted to be sure we really felt good about the homes we looked at. We weren?t comfortable making offers on just any home that would get us more square footage. I worried that Brent would think we were wasting his time, but he was nothing but patient with us and never pressured us to see or offer on anything we weren?t pumped on. At the same time, he also helped us ?keep the faith? that we would find something in our price range that we were excited about (which is challenging in this competitive market!). He also had great suggestions on how we could arrange our finances so we could make the strongest offer possible when the right home came along. Then one day, we got a call from Brent saying, ?I think I just found your house!? I remember thinking- I?ve never heard him be so confident in a statement like that! Sure enough, it was a property we could absolutely see the potential to raise our kids, in a neighborhood we love (it didn?t hurt it is 2 blocks from Brent?s house!). With the help of Brent and his recommended team of professionals, we were able to get our offer accepted and close on our new home! The next step was getting our townhouse prepped for listing. It was a relief knowing we had Brent to guide us through our first time selling. Brent had great ideas about what needed to be done on our home and even helped with staging before pictures and showings. We ended up getting 5 offers, all above asking price. What a dream!All in all, Brent was great to work with. He communicated with us clearly every step of the way and despite being friends with him, he kept the whole process completely professional. From alerting us to traffic bottle necks to recommending trade folks during closing, he knows the area well. We had bought a house 17 years prior, but had forgot a lot of the detail, Brent was super patient and fast in answering all of our questions via text and hopping on quick calls. When it came time to offer, Brent had a very good feel of how much competition there was and what the pluses and minuses were that would drive the value and where we should apply contingencies.
