Purchase -They guided us through the process of purchasing during this competitive environment. Our realtor built such good rapport with the listing agent that she called him and told him exactly what we needed to offer to win. We provided the 7th offer and won. - Once we closed on the house we used the BNP box van to make the move. This is free of charge, just gas. - Communication was just right. Not too much and not too little all while keeping it fun. Sale - They paid for and managed some minor carpentry and landscaping tasks. We reimbursed at closing. - They facilitated and paid for professional cleaning, window washing, pictures and drone shots. - They paid for and helped us move some of our extra stuff into storage so that our house didn't look as full. First, Alana knows everyone worth knowing when you are in the process of buying a home. Alana had contacts in all areas of home inspection, loan officers, title companies, assessors, repairs, roofing, contractors, and even tree management. I am a DIY type of person, but to have someone as readily and effectively connected to people that know their game, is a great advantage when you are researching homes, and trying to buy one. Second, Alana is extremely hard working and has been there from the beginning and throughout all of our visits. From the beginning--and over and over--Paulina proved to be an outstanding real estate agent. She took the time to really understand our needs, goals, and preferences. The two of us handling Mom's affairs were not in the same state, and perhaps the best aspect of Chara's service was that even though we were far away, we did not once worry that we were not getting the best possible advice, and we always felt that we were being consulted in the most respectful manner possible. It was a genuine pleasure to work with her. Most of the time she anticipated our questions and concerns. She managed to help us make a contingent offer (In Bellingham?!) for under the original list. Then turned around and sold our house for more than list in just a few hours. Long Version: We were reluctant sellers who loved our house. However, our growing family and changing needs forced us to start looking for larger homes. The daunting task of getting it ready to sell always precluded us from participating in the hot Bellingham market. We would perpetually kick the tires without moving forward. By the time we found a house it would already be long gone. Alana walked us through each step of the process and helped with every detail. We were out of town sellers and we live about 5 hours away from our secondary home that we sold. Brandon made the process so easy for us. He was good at finding contractors that were professional and charged reasonable prices to help us get our house ready for buyers. He even helped with hauling away all the items we didnt need anymore.
