ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Brad Baker in the past when he still worked for Jeff Cook Real Estate. He was great then so we decided to work with him again when we were selling our home. When we got to the point where we were going over our offers it seemed that Brad pushed us towards a specific offeraEUR|so at his advice we went with that offer. From that point forward it felt like Brad was working for the buyer and not us. All negotiations were in the buyers favor and it stayed that way until closing despite me speaking up. There was a situation with our garage door and the buyer wanted the sensor fixed. The issue was that the sensor wasnt lined up, which is an easy fix, but I honestly didnt have time to deal with it. We had already fixed all of the other things they asked us to fix so we asked if this was something the buyer could fix after closing. Brad came back and said that the buyer said this was a deal breaker and we said fine, we will go with another offer. Next thing we know Brad contacted the garage door repair man and paid for the sensor to be fixed. While that was nice of him to pay for, it was the principal that we could have gone with another offer, and this further solidified our suspension that he was really doing whatever the buyer wanted. The crazy thing is that this wasnt the first time something like this happened and it wasnt the last. If you want a realtor who is on your side 100% then I highly suggest you rethink choosing Brad Baker.
