Ben guided us through the house preparation and helped coordinate with his trusted contractors that could help with everything we needed to do before listing (pre-inspection, crawl space work, fireplace tech, staging, etc...). Once the house was ready to go, it was easy. Ben had a good plan for listing date, open house, and pricing, which generated multiple competitive offers. Our home sold quickly and for well over asking price. The closing process went smoothly. Im surprised at how easy it all was. The folks that do the behind the scenes work at Aqua were also great. They were very knowledgeable, thorough, and timely with communication. The sellers commission we paid was also lower than other agents. I feel like we received premium service at a discount price. Review I just sold a home outside of Issaquah with Ben and the experience was superb! We reached out to Ben very early when we started thinking about selling our home and he took great care of us from the first meeting all the way through closing. He helped us with all aspects of the process: from pre-inspection to give us confidence our 50 year old home is in good shape and no surprises will come up down the road to suggesting contractors for needed fixes and staging to listing to offer selection and even when working with escrow required some assistance. The whole time we were sure Ben and his expert advice was just a quick text, call or email away. Let the final numbers speak for themselves: the house was listed for over a $100k more than we initially planned, it was one short weekend on the market and sold for nearly $150k over list price - as a seller, what more could you wish for?

Review During the months of September, October, and November, we worked with Ben to purchase a single-family home in the Issaquah area. While scheduling the viewings and contacting the sellers agent for additional information, Ben was great. However, things turned around quickly when we entered into the negotiation process with Ben. When my wife, who was Bens initial and primary contact, started getting tough in the negotiation process, Ben stopped communicating with her and started communicating with me only. He left her off of emails and responded to her calls by calling me back. In addition, Ben did not put in a counter-offer during the negotiation process. All while making it seem as though he did and that making it seems as though the sellers responded negatively. In fact, he started communicating certain offers that we did not agree to and started consulting contractors to make it happen. We were so frustrated by Bens behavior during the negotiation process that we almost walked away from the deal and started looking at other houses. When the sellers came back with a large credit to make the transaction go through, we had no choice but to use Ben as the buyers agent as he was the one already listed on the previous purchase offer. Please note that all feedback was communicated to Ben verbally before posting it here. Bens response was that he was trying to wait out the sellers to make them feel the heat. However, this was not present in his actions and was not communicated to us in any way.
