We couldnt be happier with our experience working with Belia. She was incredibly attentive to our needs from start to finish and guided us through the entire process with care. I was pretty nervous and went back and forth on decisions more than once, and she was so patient with me the whole way. She never rushed me and always made me feel heard and supported. Belia grew up here in Humboldt and knows the area inside and out, which made such a difference when it came to positioning and marketing our home. We had a very unique property that would only appeal to a specific type of buyer, and she rose to the challenge beautifully. Her marketing was excellent the ads and video really highlighted the propertys character, and she hosted an amazing open house that actually produced our buyer (which I know is rare!). Not only did she help us sell over asking price, but she also handled the whole process with kindness and fairness. She treated us with genuine care and also showed the same respect to the buyer and their agent, which made for such a smooth transaction. I would recommend Belia to anyone looking to sell or buy a home especially if you want someone who combines professionalism, creativity, patience, compassion, and deep local knowledge of Humboldt in everything she does.

Belia Stephens recently represented me during a residential home purchase in Arcata. I found her to be surprisingly aggressive in terms of her looking out for my best interests during the process, and also extremely creative when it came to thinking outside the box when problems popped up. She also recommended a string of highly-skilled professional people during the buying process. (She was able to pull in a contractor to immediately fix issues on the home I currently owned in order that I could sell or rent it. She recommended a very adept and delightful mortgage broker, as well as a property management company who worked their magic and were able to rent my first home for substantially more than what I was quoted by other management companies in the area.) Financially and emotionally, Belia was truly at the center of choreographing a most supportive and successful sale and rental transition for me on two properties! I absolutely couldnt have done it without her. Belia really knows her territory, which I think is extremely important. This knowledge helped find the right person for my in-laws property.
