When he stepped out of an old muddy pick-up truck in jeans and work boots, I called my husband and told him I'd found our buyer's agent. My husband and I were first time home buyers on a budget with a USDA loan. I didn't know what I was doing and had run into so many pushy agents that I had been too skittish to even work with a buyer's agent up to that point. Austin was a breath of fresh air. Laid back yet professional, honest and friendly, he made us feel like family instead of clients. I was very specific about the floor plan and had more than a few non-negotiable aspects I wanted out of a prospective house/yard. Austin must have shown me 20 different houses - he was SO PATIENT. He never pressured us, but was always so optimistic and encouraging. I would find something online, and he would sometimes drive past it for me or walk through it to save me some time, because let's face it, some of those pictures are impressively misleading. He was extremely prompt, incredibly so, at replying to anything I texted him. If he didn't know, he did his homework and got back to me: pronto. I really can't stress how UNstressful of a process this was because of his easy, honest, and down-to-earth nature. If slick salespeople test your ability to believe basic facts of life, and pushy men in suits and Mercedes SUVs intimidate you beyond comprehension, this is your guy people!!! I cannot recommend him enough - if and when we have to sell/buy again, he'll be the first person I'll call. You should too. ??
