Hi, I'm Ashley! In any career, I imagine it's easy to set yourself on auto-pilot and turn out deals. However, that philosophy cannot be any further from the truth on how I approach helping you buy, sell, or design your home. Where you come home to and where you raise your family is a big freakin' deal. It's an important job to get it right, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. Not only do I work tirelessly for each client, this career has always been a passion of mine. I am, for lack of a better word, obsessed with homes. I love everything about them. The history, details, landscape, architecture - sure, but most importantly, I love how they make you feel.

The best buyers are the ones that are prepared. First step is a consultation with myself to learn what you're looking for, what's important to your family and when you're looking to move by. We then assist you with getting pre-approved, narrowing down your search criteria, and touring homes in person. We oftentimes will tell you things about the house you may have overlooked (like asbestos tiles, backs up to busy road, near a train track, etc!). We are very low pressure and are strong advocates that the right house is out there for everyone, no matter how long it takes to find it.
Although Metro Detroit has been a strong sellers market for several years now, each suburb, price point, home, and seasonality affects your strategy and ability to sell. There is no 'one size fits all', and there is no 'marketing plan' I can send you prior to meeting. Each marketing plan and strategy is tailored to the individual house and seller. What we don't do? A 'one size fits all' approach to your home. What do we do? Take a ton of pride in marketing your home, because our name is on the sign out front, and it's a reflection of us just as much you!

Real estate is in my blood. My father was a Realtor my entire life and I vividly remember him smelling of equal parts cologne and coffee. We would drive around neighborhoods doing market research and grabbing flyers off of for sale signs so he could scope out all the available listings. He passed away in 2014, and in a way I feel as though he has guided me to finish what he started.
I got my undergrad and masters degree in Psychology. I worked in the Government sector for several years, working with underprivileged families and juveniles in unsafe situations. Most of my career prior to real estate was assisting families in very difficult times of their lives. The compassion, care, and empathy in that role has translated into real estate. Buying and selling homes can be exciting, but they can also be hard moments. Working with people during a stressful time of their life is not just something I do daily, but something I am prepared for due to my education and background.
