Armen & Hazel are experts in their field. They know Pasadena intimately, using that knowledge to screen properties for my wife and I, allowing us to pass on properties they knew wouldn't 't fit our needs, or get us into properties they knew were "hot" well before the first open house. The two of them are a great team; knowledgable and compassionate. At one point they even talked us out of making an offer knowing the house wasn't the right fit for us even when we couldn't recognize it (they were so right!). Armen V. Sarkissian and his crew is AWESOME!!! We have now used their group 3 times to handle the sales and purchases of homes. Over our lifetimes, my husband and I have bought and sold 7 houses. Sometimes our real estate agents were good, sometimes just fair, and a couple of times downright awful. And then there was Hazel Perera, (SARKISSIAN + PERERA GROUP), who helped us sell our home in Pasadena, CA. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate her a 10! She negotiated and hired top quality contractors to get the house ready. Many light fixtures were dated. She shopped for needed replacements, had excellent taste and was mindful of the cost. She solicited our approval for all purchases. She negotiated a great final sales price. And She kept meticulous track of all expenses to assist us with capital gains taxes. The timing was terrible. We were moving into a retirement community and the delays there put us right into the Christmas and New Years holidays for selling our house. But Hazel knew her neighborhoods. She reassured us buyers were circling because of the neighborhoods unusual features. Not to worry about potential buyers being too busy with the holidays. The house sold quickly. Above were all the things she did to make selling the house during that busy holiday time easy. But lest I forget: she was a cheerful, honest, caring, reassuring person who always picked up the phone. Its no wonder I rate her a 10 when the scale only goes up to 5.
