She is a very direct, clear communicator and has a fantastic "crash course" for novice home-seekers. She was transparent about her tactics making offers on homes in this current market; our first-ever offer on a house that we loved was submitted promptly-- and merely a day or two later, was accepted! The inspections and closing processes were a breeze, even with us being unable to be there in person for the majority of it. We were new to the state of Washington, so we didn't really know the area well-- we just knew that we wanted a horse property. Once our house popped up in our price range, Anna-Lisa helped us make a move quickly and get an offer in. Finding her online by reading other positive reviews, she was the second realtor we worked with during the process, the first realtor not working out. We were very apprehensive in the process, but Anna-Lisa eased our minds after meeting with her for the first time. She provided a packet of useful information regarding buying a house, and explained the process from start to finish. We gave her an idea of the type of houses we wanted to look at, and she found us several that were exactly that. When we did find the house we wanted to put an offer in for, she helped us do it timely to insure it would be accepted. The whole process from start to finish took less than two months, and was very worry-free for the most part. She dealt with everything that we thought was a concern, and some stuff she thought was a concern! ZillowVERIFIED I have bought and sold a good number of properties in my life time. Anna-Lisa is by far the best and most comprehensive agent I have dealt with. What I liked the best about her was the fact she was concerned whether my wife and I at our age be able to handle the upkeep of 2 homes on the property and 5 acres. The first agent I had in the Lacy area was more concerned about selling us something. The property we bought was the only one at that time that interested me. The listing agent misrepresented the restrictions that were on the property. It was Anna-Lisa who was forthcoming with all the potential problems. She also was diligent in finding the financing that allowed us to overcome that aspect of the deal. You can not go wrong having Anna-Lisa as your agent whether buying or selling.

Anna-Lisa helped us prepare the houses for selling and she did a super job of staging them and photographing them to put on line. The presentations were superb. The first house got a full price offer 2 hours after hitting the website and was sold to those people. The second house got a full price offer the day after the open house. This house was sold following a skype tour before the buyers had even seen the house in person. Again, the presentation was great. Anna-Lisa led us through the minefield of having a new home built and we came out unscathed. She kept a careful watch over all stages of the entire process.Should we ever do this again, we will do it with the assistance of Anna-Lisa Schorn!

ZillowVERIFIED Anna-Lisa is hands down the best realtor my husband and I have ever worked with. We are international educators, and spend over ten months of the year out-of-country. We knew we wanted to purchase a home at some point, but were limited to mainly looking online. We also knew that our somewhat unique circumstances would present a challenge when it came to purchasing a home while living overseas. A few years ago, my husband contacted Anna-Lisa for more information about a property listed on her site. While we ultimately did not purchase that property, it began a dialogue about our needs. Anna-Lisa added my husband to her mailing list so we could receive weekly MLS updates specific to our search criteria. Other realtors had done this in the past, but rarely made themselves available beyond the simple automated service, as they knew we were a couple years off from actually buying. Anna-Lisa didn't mind, as she seemed to understand that it was a long-term investment in a relationship. When my husband was back in the States for five days, about six weeks ago, he asked to meet-up with Anna-Lisa to look at a home we had viewed online and found to be intriguing. We still were not convinced it was the right time to buy, but Anna-Lisa had no problem working around his tight schedule to meet so he could view the home. When my husband decided it was the perfect fit for us, Anna-Lisa scheduled another home viewing a couple days later so I could Skype in for a virtual viewing (I was in West Africa). Anna-Lisa walked around the home opening cupboards and drawers, explaining the layout, giving suggestions, and pointing out any flaws she saw. Anna-Lisa went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the home and had a good sense of what we were buying.Anna-Lisa recommended an excellent home inspector, mortgage broker and Title company that went above and beyond to make our home purchase a seamless process. They sent all paperwork electronically so we were able to complete everything while still overseas. She worked with the seller's agent to schedule repairs that needed to be completed and went back to the house to check on the quality of the work personally. She was always available for any questions we had, both via email, and Skype. Anna-Lisa made sure that we were able to receive the closing papers in West Africa, so we didn't have to make a special trip back to the US to sign, literally saving us thousands of dollars in travel costs. Friends of ours that are also trying to purchase a home while living overseas have not had anywhere near the same quality of customer service or care; they have had to return to the US to complete the closing paperwork, or have been told to they have to wait until they're back for summer break to buy a home.We highly recommend Anna-Lisa for her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to think outside of the box to make things work based on the unique needs of her clients. I happened to meet Anna-Lisa at one of her open houses and was so impressed with her (and at the time supremely unimpressed with the agent I was working with) that I looked her up on her website. She called me immediately after signing in to her site. Once I told her the specifications I wanted in a house, she said she would put together a list and email it over. I had the list with an hour or two and this was on the weekend! Luckily we only had to look at two properties and number two was our winner. However, this was no easy deal as it was a foreclosure. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster of a deal for me, but Anna-Lisa was always there to calm us down and be supportive. No matter what bumps in the road we hit, she always stayed positive and fought the whole time to make sure we had the best deal and that the deal went through! She was always available to talk, be it morning, noon, night or weekends. Anna-Lisa was and is an amazing agent that looks out for her clients and I would recommend her enthusiastically to anyone!
