From intake call through closing, Alyssa is the dedicated and organized champion you want in your corner. We had to purchase our home sight unseen (IYKYK) and needed someone we could trust to serve as our eyes, brains, and noses (pet smells, am I right?!) as we virtually toured houses. Alyssa is a long time Spokane local who is passionate about this area, and her vast knowledge ensured we got the right house with our desired amenities in a neighborhood that fits our family needs to a T. We showed up to our final walk through and everything was better than we expected! Alyssa worked with us to ensure an extended closing date as we sold our last house in Colorado under the VA assumption process. She worked in lock step with the realtor selling our home, our mortgage lender, and the title company to ensure everything moved right along, which made the process of buying and moving a thousand times easier. She was direct and honest about the market (sellers, at the time) but encouraged us to be persistent and keep looking due to very low interest rates. She helped to educate us about the financial processes and even helped find us a lender, inspector and several other industry contacts who were equally direct and trustworthy. Within a month, we had found our home, and she was very responsive with updates and important questions for us during the closing process. She even helped me figure out how to use the home warranty program after we had closed and still checks in to see how things are going at our new place. She told us upfront that this is a buyers market and we would have to be on top of it to find a home. But she was there to make sure it happened. We met multiple times per week, and put multiple offers on homes. She always made time for us right when a house went on the market, and wrote offers late at night aEUR" even on the weekend. We were first time homebuyers and no question went unanswered. It took us a few weeks to really nail down what we were looking for and the price we were comfortable with, but Alyssa humored us as we wandered all over the city looking at pretty much every house in our price range. At each home, she gave us her honest assessment about the property, and offered advice if she thought the house was overpriced, needed a lot of work, etc., all the while making sure we had the final say. After we closed, she even gave us a personalized piece of art that has the coordinates of our new home, which was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10 I would recommend Alyssa!
