WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Never bought a home before. We were referred to Alyse & Neal at Eugene Realty Group after speaking to a lender. It was an immediate warm reception, and they took the time to explain the buying process. There were the expected frustrations of looking at properties in the morning, and by the time we were ready to talk about them and possibly make an offer, they were already pending. Both Alyse and Neal explained there would be ups and downs, and walked us through the process when that happened. We finally found our perfect home, and didnt hesitate making an offer that was accepted that same afternoon. There were some very unexpected last minute major bumps on the part of the sellers agent and confusion regarding status of the property due to estate transfer etc. In the end, they stuck with us minute by minute with updates and plan B just in case. We feel that Alyse and Neal went above and beyond to make sure the deal went through as expected, being available nearly any hour to answer questions, and even take a call while they were on vacation to let us vent our frustrations. We decided to purchase our first home, in the middle an insanely difficult housing market for buyers and were initially worried about getting pressured into a home that was either out of our price range or a fixer upper that needed a ton of work. We decided to work with Alyse because of her knowledge in the field, but also because of her truly caring personality. As a first time home buyer, I was not familiar with the terminology or the process that would take place with purchasing a home. Right away Alyse was incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with my partner and I to determine what would be a good fit for us. She even recommended a lending agent in the area, which we ended up using and greatly appreciated. She gave us great advise on what to offer on our home and Alyse responded to each of our questions with care, and in a timely manner.
