I was fortunate to find Alisa Snider when I was looking for a top realtor in Bergen County to sell my home in River Vale. I knew this was not going to be an easy task, as I was selling during Covid, my home was a high end property, I was not living in the area and access for showings was going to be limited. Additionally, there were court orders that we needed to navigate as my ex-husband and his unauthorized tenant were occupying the property. Alisa knows how to get the job done! She is a wealth of knowledge, with many years of experience which is truly invaluable when you sell a home. She was my eyes and ears, told me what needed to get done before going on the market and have a multitude of resources to deal with the unruly tenant. We staged many of the rooms before the photographer came and Alisa brought in her handyman to do much needed repairs that made a huge difference in how the home showed. Alisas pricing of the home was on point. She understood not only the value of the home, but the market conditions, details of comparable properties and she price the property perfectly as we had multiple offers and even some above asking price on such a high end property. Alisa is so much more than a Realtor. She is true professional that genuinely cares about her clients. I cant tell you how many early morning calls and texts there were and Alisa was always available. Whatever issues came up (and there were many due to the tenant in the property), Alisa knew what to do. She has a list of professionals she has worked with for many years for just about anything and they drop whatever they are doing to help her clients first. I cannot say enough about Alisa, if you need to sell a home or buy a home in Bergen County you do not need to look any further, no one will work harder for you than Alisa.

Long review below; the TLDR is that she's the best realtor anyone could ask for and you should absolutely work with her if you have the chanceMy wife and I just closed on our first house with Alisa, and honestly we could not imagine having gone through this insane process without Alisa. The market is incredibly rough right now; prices are high, competition is higher, and the number of houses available just isn't enough to keep up, but Alisa managed to get us through with a sense of humor, reassurance, and security. We talked with a few realtors initially and Alisa was the only one we felt comfortable truly wanted to find the best option for us out there. Some key points on her:-She actually wants you to be happy with your purchase; multiple times I said "we just need to find something" or "it just needs to be ok enough" and she would instantly tell us to keep our standards and expectations up in this market while being realistic. She helped guide us on things that would be important in terms of resale value and consider what our needs might be and how they may change with our upcoming new child.-She is advocating for you at her own expense: we asked to put a bid on a house that had low taxes but a high price, IE a higher commission for her, and she explicitly talked us out of it. She brought up construction concerns, investment concerns, and did some digging into the records for this house to bolster her concerns. She was totally right. She could have made an easy commission very early in our process but she talked us out of it, which just made more work for her.-She is very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. As first time buyers, there was so much we were uncertain about or needed clarification on. We walked into multiple houses where she was able to pick up on construction concerns, leaks, unpermitted changes, etc. She has a great sense of housing value and sees problems from miles away-She's one of the most responsive people in the world. I don't know how she does it, but it seems she's always able to text or call back in no time at all. She also takes the time to explain the surrounding details of different aspects of home buying to make sure we were as informed as possible and making a good decision for us specifically.-Because she has been doing this for a long time, she has helpful contacts in all areas related to home buying and care. She has "a guy" for everything aEUR" flooring, house inspections, sewer inspections, etc. Everyone she recommended that we worked with was prompt, professional, and excellent. You could find them all online with research and see they had great reviews, but it is amazing to have great recommendations that are vouched for from the get go (particularly if you are newer to the area).Overall Alisa made our home buying process as easy as it can possibly be and she really took care of us start to finish, and we can't recommend her enough to our friends and family. If we ever decide to sell our house for a new one, theres no question Alisa is who we would want to represent us. Shes fabulous.
