We bought our home with Yao and very happier with the experience. She made the whole process so much easier than we expected. She pays attention to details we never would have noticed and pointed out things in houses that could have been problems later. She always got back to us quickly when we had questions or wanted to see a property. The whole buying process went smoothly, Yao knew exactly what needed to happen and when. She handled all the complicated stuff and kept us informed every step of the way.

In my many years of experience in this real estate industry, Ive never encountered a buyer (or any authorized representative) who is required to pick up the key in the Listing Agents office, especially when the office is not local. Nor this aEURoespecial requirementaEUR? is communicated ahead of time so some accommodation can be arranged. We got this aEURoerequirementaEUR? right before the closing of escrow, surprisingly! And it was stated like aEURoethis is our policy and our work hour is 9 to 5aEUR?. Does this sound like a government office? I understood that this is an out-of-town transaction for the listing team. It will be easier for THEM. I requested different options, such as delivering the keys to the property, the escrow office, or somewhere close to the property. They just ignored and insisted that its their policy and they need to strictly follow it (Did they disclose this to the property owner when they tried to get the business?). I sent a couple of texts, and emails to Alex (Lead and Listing Agent from Rain Maker Real Estate) to raise the issue but I was completely ignored either. It was a horrible experience. This causes a 1-day delay in keys delivery to the new owner, after the Close of Escrow. Deals will pass, but the experience will last, especially if its a bad experience. It goes beyond the transaction. What I saw here is, is a bit of entitlement, cut corners, or lack of professionalism, if nothing else. I had been expecting a bit more from this team. To customers, make sure to ask if they have other aEURoepoliciesaEUR? that are only in their favor. It is better to know it early than later. LOL

We hired Alex and his team for the sale of our Bay Area home and it was one of the best decisions we made. Alex and his team made the entire process extremely easy even though we were remote and got us the best price for our house. He and his team were extremely diligent and knowledgable about the market and what we needed to do for the sale. Alex showed true professionalism, honesty and integrity throughout the process and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a realtor. We would not hesitate to work with Alex again in the future.

Nancy was amazing and terrific, overall. When we agreed to sell my house, she began to take care of it like it was her own. She hired the best painter and handyman and in no time restored my home like it's new. She also made sure that we passed all inspection with flying colors by attending to all the little details. The process of selling went so easy that we had an offer within a month. I would recommend Nancy to anyone who wants someone responsible, dependable, knowledgeable, rigorous, and, best of all, happy, professional, caring, and just one terrific person with a big and generous heart.

Nancy was friendly and helpful thru the hard task of buying a home in the early days of covid. In spite of the pandemic, she was able to negotiate and secure us an excellent price on our condo. We are definitely going to call her again when we want to move to a new house.
