ZillowVERIFIEDMy mother and I hired Alberto to sell her home, which was a huge mistake. Alberto was extremely rude, confrontational, inept, and did not manage to sell the home (in over 90 days). To start, Alberto pressured my elderly mother into signing with him, even though she had just taken her home off of the market, and expressed that she did not actually wish to sell. Alberto told my mother that she needed to put nearly $20,000 into renovations (using Alberto's contractor) in order to be able to sell. After the renovations, Alberto stated that the home should be listed more than $30,000 less than it had previously been listed, even after the renovations. Alberto did not put a for sale sign up in the yard, nor did Alberto hold a single open house (during the 90+ days in which Alberto had the home listed). Alberto did not even bother to come to the home after the renovations, even though he was informed that the contractor's electrician damaged the living room fan/light. To add insult to injury, Alberto had the nerve to EMAIL an elderly woman (instead of calling), to say that since the home still had not sold (two accepted offerd fell through due to the buyers fearing and upcoming recession) that the price MUST be dropped at least $30,000 if he is going to continue to list the home. How dare a Realtor demand a home owner to do anything... Alberto refused to call my mother at any point during the 90 day listing, did not see the home, did not put our a for sale sign, and did not hold an open house. Numerous Realtors reached out and sent their appraisal estimates, each of which were at least $30,000 higher than what Alberto initially listed the home for (after the $20,000 of renovations), yet Alberto demanded the price be dropped another $30,000. Despite Alberto's lack of effort, the home had actually received two full price offers (even though each time, Alberto recommended we pay the buyers closing costs and or drop the price for the buyer)... Yet, even after the home had received two full price offere, Alberto now demanded (via email) that the price be dropped. When we said that we would not lower the price. Alberto got very upset and had the nerve to call to argue. Even worse, when asked why he would only send an email, Alberto had the nerve to say that he tried calling the night before, yet, neither myself nor mother had received a telephone call from him (in months). Extremely rude, extremely pushy, and incredibly inept. We will certainly never use or recommend Albert, The Saab group, or Berkshire Hathaway every again.

Alberto sold my house in 2013 in 72 hours, transaction went smooth. I moved out of state in 2013. I hear from Alberto at least twice a year just to see how I am doing. I have relocated many times and used many agents thru out the last 20 years and Alberto is the only one that has ever stayed in touch with me long after the transaction. ZillowVERIFIEDThis the second time I have used Alberto and his team to sell one of my properties. In both instances he has shown the utmost professionalism and knowledge of the housing market. In this particular case the appraisal came in under value. Instead of pushing me to lower the selling price he assured me he could get an additional $5000. This is a lot of money for me but it only represents $150 dollars in commission to Alberto. He cares about his clients and works hard for them. If you are considering buying or selling a home in the future you cant do better than Alberto and his team.

They are always bringing the latest information to me so I never have to stress about the deal. ZillowVERIFIEDTHIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CLIENT BUT ONLY MONEY, BEWARE!Ever since I listed my house with Alberto Saab with Berkshire it has been a nightmare ever since and here is my report. My mother consulted me over to Alberto and Rachel Saab at Berkshire. She told me they were dependable people and that you wont have any issues, sell your house fast and youll be happy. Seeing as theyre family friends I decided to go ahead and list with them because I thought I could trust them and work well with them. On June 26th I signed the contract with Alberto, happy that I'm going to get someone good on my team. July 6th the house was finally listed, and I was excited about the process. Then the tragedy had started.One morning I'm waking up to multiple phone numbers calling me. Agents inquiring about the house and wanting to schedule and appoint to see the home. I was shocked because I hired an agent to take phone calls and call me about making an appointment. The calls didnt stop, and I addressed to Alberto that I'm very uncomfortable with my information out on MLS and now strangers have my personal number. I told him that I was surprised he listed my number and had a discussion that as an agent youre supposed to be taking the calls. I couldnt believe that I had to tell my agent, he has to take the phone calls. He asserted that he desired me to take calls, merely it would draw lines up at his office and it would be an inconvenient and lose buyers because he would be getting calls. Multiple friends and family members were around when he discussed how he felt. Everyone was shocked and calling him lazy because he doesnt want to perform his task, I couldnt agree more. Afterwards I told him I dont want my information on any website and for him to do his business, I did not receive a response. Around four or five days elapsed and still having agents call me to fix appointments for the home. I cant do my agent job and mine at the same time, its just Ludacris. After multiple times asking him to take my information off the website he finally took my information off that day and it only took a couple hours. I was furious that he wasnt answering my calls or texts and decided when he wanted to take my information off on his time.Contacting or getting in touch with Alberto was also unprofessional. Ever since the incident about leaving my information on websites he has been short tempered with me in his texts. I got more calls and text from his assistant more than him. I told him a specific time and days when the house was available for showing, but I want to confirm the time and day. Alberto would text me the day when there was going to be a showing and what time it would be, not even checking if it was alright with his client that the time would work out for me! No courtesy to me what so ever. I had to address him and tell him he needs to ask me in a different way when its alright when to book clients. Causing even more short tempered, he would just answer in a one-word texts showing that he didnt desire to respond to anymore. Now I'm having random agents show up at my house, not even scheduled. Not Alberto or anyone in the Berkshire company letting me know agents are coming to my house, I cant even reach Alberto on his phone when random agents show up. Then they start complaining to me that aEURoeYour agent is very difficult to get hold of to speak with or to even make appointments.aEUR? Other agents now discussing that if my agent doesnt know how to schedule or answer phone calls with other agents, then why did you hire him? So embarrassed at this point because I'm being represented by a poorly mannered agent and not having a clue how to answer phones or schedule appointments. The sign the also put out on the front of my house looks like it has been thrown around, roughed up, and just looks horrible like they dont care. My father also took pictures for Alberto to make the house look great. My father was calling me day after day about Alberto not paying for his services and how he is impossible to get ahold of or goes straight to voicemail and doesnt call back. I had to call back and see what the problem was about paying my father for his services. It seemed like Alberto wanted me to pay for it but I'm not paying extra for what my agent is supposed to be paid for! Blaming it on his assistant for not paying it. Finally, that same day I had to call and discuss this problem he paid my father. The lack of attention is common in Berkshire Hathaway company. Now Rachel, his wife texted me and snapped about how Alberto couldnt answer the phone. Also stating that aEURoeIt is out of out of their control if random agents show up, because the more people in the house the better.aEUR? I'm baffled how Rachel isnt in the sales team selling my house telling me that they cant basically cant answer agents calls or schedule them for a showing let alone to confirm with me? I couldnt believe the unprofessional way both Alberto and Rachel
