My real estate journey began in 1996 when I joined the largest mortgage company in the United States as a Short Sale negotiator in the Loss Mitigation Department. I was personally responsible for closing over 500 short sales in my almost four year career. I honed my skills dealing with real estate agents as well as investors (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) learning the vernacular and the intricacies of the real estate world. From there, I segued into traditional real estate sales in 1999 joining one of the most established companies in the area. In my very first day in real estate, I took a listing and sold it in one day. I was instantly hooked and knew that this would would be a life-long endeavor for me. Since I was born in the San Fernando Valley, grew up in Simi Valley, went to college in the Conejo Valley (graduated from California Lutheran University), and currently live in the Santa Clarita Valley, I am very familiar with neighborhoods and real estate in those areas.
