ZillowVERIFIEDWe hired the Condo People based on promises Albert made. But they did not represent us well as the seller since they also represented the buyer who just happened to be a real estate agent. The Condo People had us sign a 3/4 month contract but held open house for one weekend ONLY - for 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday. Albert pushed us to take the first and only offer he brought. He stood to make a 4% commission by representing the buyer as well instead of 2.5% if he only represented us. He insisted that no other buyer showed interest in the condo. Very deceptive as our 1,610 sq. ft. top floor condo with views was always desirable and garnered a lot of interest, especially when we had entered escrow with the previous agent twice at $40K above the current asking price Albert set. He set this price with the promise that he will get above asking. He did not do that - shortchanging us by $16K. None of this affected his 4% commission. Albert threatened us with a lawsuit when I expressed that it feels OFF to sell our beautiful condo for less than market value per sq. ft. and we're not comfortable signing escrow closing documents. Terrible time! One of the worst experiences of our life! Then to add insult to injury, they featured the selling of our condo in their 10/23 brochure.
