My advice to buyers is to get fully prepared before looking at homes. Speak with a trusted lender, understand your budget, and know the difference between what you qualify for and what you are comfortable paying. In today’s market, a strong offer is not just about price — it is also about terms, timing, communication, inspections, appraisal strategy, and negotiation. With more than 40 years of real estate experience, I help buyers look beyond the excitement of the home and understand value, condition, resale potential, location, and long-term financial impact.

My advice to sellers is to prepare the home before it goes on the market. Pricing, presentation, photography, repairs, timing, and marketing all matter. The goal is not just to list the home — the goal is to create confidence for buyers and reduce issues before they become problems. I encourage sellers to be realistic, strategic, and proactive. With proper preparation and experienced guidance, a seller can often attract stronger buyers, better terms, and a smoother closing.

Over my 40+ years in real estate, I have worked with first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, sellers, luxury clients, investors, new construction buyers, builders, relocating families, military and VA buyers, probate and estate families, downsizing homeowners, and families going through major life transitions. Every client’s situation is different, and I believe my job is to listen carefully, give honest guidance, and help them make the best decision for their future.

One recent transaction I am especially proud of involved a seller who had lived in the home for many years and needed guidance through the preparation and selling process. We worked together before the home went on the market, addressed presentation, helped coordinate improvements, and positioned the property properly. The home received strong activity quickly, went under contract, and closed smoothly. What made it meaningful was not just the sale — it was helping the client move forward with confidence, peace, and trust during an important life transition.

I began my real estate career in 1985, and I have now been serving clients for more than 40 years. From the beginning, I loved the people side of real estate — helping families, solving problems, negotiating, and guiding people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Over the years, I have worked through many different markets, interest-rate cycles, lending changes, and economic conditions. That experience allows me to bring calm, wisdom, and perspective to my clients today.

Yes. In addition to more than 40 years of real estate experience, I have earned professional real estate designations and training that help me better serve buyers, sellers, and families in transition. My background includes CRS – Certified Residential Specialist, SRS – Seller Representative Specialist, ABR® – Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and Certified New Home Construction Specialist. I also bring practical experience in new construction, home building, financing, negotiations, probate and estate situations, relocation, VA buyers, and listing preparation. Abby is very personable, full of life and energy. Abby is great at getting updates to you during the process and listening to what you like and don't like. Abby won't pressure you into a buy that is beyond your abilities to manage financially.
