The trustees. The document will outline who has signing authority and you will have to provide that to the title company or attorney depending on your state.

Every real estate agent has a different communication style, but clear and consistent communication should be one of the most important parts of the home selling process. At our brokerage, we believe sellers should never wonder what’s happening with their listing. We contact the showing agents after every showing to request feedback and share it with our clients as soon as we receive it. Unfortunately, not every buyer’s agent responds, and while we can’t force feedback, we always let our clients know when we’ve made the request and whether we’re still waiting to hear back. Beyond showing feedback, we encourage every seller to decide how often they’d like to receive listing updates. Some homeowners appreciate a quick weekly check-in, while others prefer a more detailed monthly strategy meeting. There isn’t one “right” schedule. The best approach is the one that fits your communication preferences. Regardless of how often we speak, every client receives a comprehensive marketing performance report so they can clearly see how their home is performing in the market. These reports typically include: * Number of showings * Online views and buyer engagement * Marketing activity and advertising performance * Comparable sales and new competition * Buyer feedback and common themes * Recommended pricing or marketing adjustments, if needed Selling a home is a partnership. If two weeks have passed and you haven’t heard from your agent, it’s completely reasonable to ask how they’d like to communicate moving forward. Establishing expectations early helps eliminate uncertainty and ensures you’re informed throughout the entire selling process. The best real estate agents don’t just put a home on the market. They provide consistent communication, transparent reporting, and strategic guidance so sellers always understand what is happening and why.
