All compensation is negotiable. You could save the money and market it yourself. However having a good agent that correctly markets your home and goes the distance will probably get it sold quicker and possibly for more money than a FSBO. At the end of the day it is up to you how involved you want to be with marketing, showing and going through the sales process. Hope that helps.
