The short answer is Yes. I have sold many furnished homes. It is something you should check with your real estate agent about. The bigger question is how does it impact the selling of the home.

I would recommend a home inspection as it is a start to understanding the property you are considering. A home is a large investment and having insight before a purchase is a good idea. It can also help in the negotiation process. If you have a realtor I would suggest getting their opinion as well.
