I would go to meet with the HOA board or property manager and ask if I could park my work truck in another area? Also I would ask for the HOA buy laws.

Do the best that you can do... painting the outside is a great idea... The price maybe lowered too if the outside needs painting....As far as shrubs, just make sure they are neat....

Yep, you sure can.... first check out your credit score, then what areas in Suffolk? How many bedrooms do you want..... the more bedrooms and square footage the higher the rent. I checked my database and found some rentals.... not many and only 2 bedrooms....

It depends on your personal situation.... some folks are in life situations where renting is to their advantage; especially if the landlord/property management is very proactive in taking care of the rental and responding to your concerns.
