Basically, In real estate... you have to be a Broker or work for a Broker to Do transactions as a Real Estate Agent. A Broker is an agent also, but he hires other agents who are typically not Brokers and take a percentage from their sales as payment for allowing them to close deals under his Brokerage name. So, in short a Broker is a Real Estate agent who has a qualified number of years experience, qualified number of sales and have taken and passed a Brokers Licensure exam.
