Hi Karin, a couple of questions would need to be answered first. 1) as previously mentioned, has he lived in the home and has he contributed to the household bills for at least 2 years? 2) when you file your taxes, do you file jointly? If yes if the answer to either question above, legally he has some rights as Texas is a community state and you are considered married under common law. But if the answers to the above are No, if the loan and deed are in your name only, he has no say.
