Hi Pamela, a condo or villa in Florida are treated identically to single-family residences for tax purposes. Taxes are owed on all Real Estate properties.

Dorothy, refer to the listing agreement you signed with the agent as there can be a cancellation fee. If there is not a fee to cancel, the process is much easier. I would advise sending an email to your agent to recap your conversation so you have it in writing that you are canceling the listing agreement. There is also a termination document that your agent can send you to sign. It is always best to have everything in writing to protect yourself.
