1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
My best advice for buyers is to start with financing and get preapproved, not just prequalified. A prequalification is based on information you provide verbally, while a preapproval requires documentation and is much stronger when you’re ready to submit an offer. It’s important to understand how much you want to put down and what your full monthly payment will look like, including taxes and insurance, so you’re shopping confidently within your comfort zone. I also recommend creating a clear list of must-haves versus nice-to-haves to stay focused and make the process smoother and more successful.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
For sellers, I always say focus on the things you can control, pricing and presentation. Pricing your home correctly from the start is critical to attracting serious buyers and avoiding sitting on the market. The second key is making sure the home shows its absolute best. As an Accredited Staging Professional, I walk through the home room by room with my clients and provide specific recommendations on how to declutter, depersonalize, and highlight the home’s best features so it feels clean, spacious, and inviting to buyers.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all types of clients since I was licensed in 1996, from first-time buyers to clients purchasing and selling multi-million dollar luxury properties. I believe every client deserves the same high level of care, communication, and professionalism, regardless of price point. As a Luxury Collection Agent, I sell many homes in the higher price ranges, and I bring that same level of marketing expertise, strong negotiation skills, and attention to detail to every transaction.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One transaction I’m especially fond of was helping sellers who had been on the market with another agent for eight months without success. When I met, they were understandably frustrated and discouraged. I walked through the home and made recommendations for staging, we looked together at the pricing based on current market data and I elevated the marketing with professional photography and stronger online exposure. Within a short time, we got a full list price offer and they closed escrow and were able to move to Ohio. It was incredibly rewarding to not only get their home sold, but help them be able to move closer to family. They were happy to give me a 5 Star rating. We have hundreds of happy clients and 5 star reviews!
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got into real estate over 30 years ago. After graduating from college with a degree in Criminal Justice, I was having a hard time finding the right opportunity in that field. I decided to get my real estate license while I figured things out and I quickly realized I had found the right career. I started young, and I’ve truly enjoyed it ever since. I love helping families buy, sell, and move into the next chapter of their lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to guide people through such an important milestone.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes, I believe continuing education is extremely important in order to best serve my clients. I hold several advanced designations including GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), which reflect a higher level of training and experience in residential real estate. I am also an Accredited Staging Professional, a Luxury Collection Agent, a member of the Luxury Institute, and a New Home Specialist. These certifications allow me to better advise clients on pricing, marketing, negotiations, staging, and new construction opportunities.

The kind reviews of Leslie Carver make me even more disappointed in the experience my family had with her. I believe her efforts There was no marketing or analysis done on our behalf. The photos were poor and no one commincated with my family when the property was listed. When the deal was complete my family did not receive a thank you card or phone call. Her effort was not at all commenserate with the almost 6 figure commission she received.
