Spent this weekend house hunting. Found the most amazing home that had been on the market for 57 days. Our realtor negotiated with April, and we were told that the seller accepted our offer. We already had pre-approval so we were good to go. Came home excited, packing, making calls in preparation. We have to relocate for my job. No choice. We waited for the contract, and waited a bit longer. April was supposedly out of town, the sellers busy. Even though we were supposed to go under contract, and the sellers wanted to get moving. Apparently, we never received our contract because April kept us on the hook while waiting for pre-approval from another offer. How incredibly unethical! Honesty counts in business! Shame on this realtor for costing us time and money when we would have been willing to counter offer. Honesty goes a long way, and this realtor is an absolute disgrace.
