Windermere RE/ Himlie

Laura is the person you want to work with if you are concerned about choosing the best realtor who will actively and honestly work FOR you. In my situation, I live in Pennsylvania and was trying to sell a cabin with challenges in a remote part of Washington State. There were many surprise complications, but Lauras experience, her knowledge of the local community, her responsiveness to my calls, emails, and questions helped me cope with the process. She made every part of the selling process transparent and easy to complete. She kept a steady, calm demeanor through it all, and she patiently explained every step to me that had to be completed long-distance and through the internet. She exerted more energy on my behalf than ANY realtor with which I have previously dealt. If you want a realtor with excellent people-skills, expertise in handling all aspects of the selling process, a strong work ethic, and transparencyaEUR"even under trying circumstancesaEUR"I highly recommend engaging Laura Mershon as your realtor. You will be so glad you did. I certainly am!

Laura Mershon has represented our family in five real estate transactions in Mason County. It is a pleasure working with her. Her low-key demeanor belies a thorough knowledge of the purchase and sale process with all its pitfalls. Of the two houses we sold, Laura presented us with acceptable offers at or above listing price within three days of listing. Of the three houses we purchased, Laura proved to be a skilled negotiator, achieving the price and terms we wanted. Laura listens to our needs and follows through right up to the day escrow closes. On our last sale, at the last minute the lender required aEURoetie downsaEUR? on a mobile home. Laura obtained a contractor, got the work done and satisfactorily advised the lender within two days. On our last purchase, Laura arranged for an inspection of the septic system. When the system failed to pass inspection, Laura negotiated a $20,000 price reduction. Laura is an informed, professional, thoughtful, problem-solver. I highly recommend her services.

Laura is friendly, easy to work with, patient, a great communicator and knows her business. She took the time to answer all our questions, never rushed us and was there when we needed her the entire process. We have bought other houses before, but I think she would be great for first time buyers as well. It always felt like she was working for and with us and had our best interests in mind for every step of the way and authentically wanted us to find the right property for our needs. Laura, will not upsell you, she truly listens to what you want and will be professional regardless of if you are buying an economical or luxurious property. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

Laura was great and so easy to work with. She sets up an individualized portal where you can view properties as they come on to the market to help you find the right home. We saw several properties together and she was wonderful in obtaining any answers to our questions. Thank you Laura so much! We love our new cabin :)

Working with Laura was an absolute joy. With her help and support I was able to relocate from southern California to Washington in the midst of last year's pandemic. She was there helping me every step of the way. She is both honest and ethical - sometimes a rare find in business today. And she is kind. Laura has my unequivocal recommendation whether you are buying or selling your real estate. Suzanne M.
