I dont usually do long write ups, i figure people usually go with who they know. However, our experience is one that I want to share. My husband and I moved out here from the mid west. No family, no friends, had never been east of Illinois. My husband accepted a job and moved out here 6 months prior while I waited for our former house to sell. When his lease was up, we put our stuff in storage and headed to a hotel close to his work and somewhat near to where we wanted to live. We started our home search with a decent sized down payment, average credit score and a pre approval letter. As a bonus, I was doing alot of the research myself using internet housing sites. We were a "sure thing". You can imagine how amazed I was to find that the first three agents I hooked up with didn't return emails in a timely manner. Some times I had to contact the listing agent directly to get my questions answered. I'd give them 3 or 4 chances mind you, but eventually had to find someone else and start over. I started talking to Beth Van Blarcom with Weichert realty just before we left Omaha. She hung with us every step of the way and always responded in short order. If I didn't understand what I was looking at in a specific area - she would call me back to explain. If I received conflicting information about a listing - she would call and show me. She sent me a list of current listings - and when I didn't like something, she listened to why and spent time finding what I wanted. She didn't leave it up to chance that something would circulate threw her "just listed" emails. Instead, she was very proactive and helped us navigate this very foreign NJ landscape. I highly recommend Beth.
