Lisa helped me sell my fathers duplex (Lived on one side/rented opposite). I live 6hrs away and I expected many challenges with the sale. We were connected through a real estate agent local to me. TL;DR - Lisa was exceptionally professional, had less that 1 day turn around on communications, arrived on time and prepared, had local connections for problems I couldn't handle, and was out in front of all of the extra requirements the town required because it was a rental property sale. Lisa was outstanding and made the sale much less stressful. She did an excellent job and I'd absolutely recommend her. Lisa accommodated my schedule when I traveled to town. As it was a 12hr round trip drive I'd typically arrive around noon and deal with as many issues as I could in 3-6hrs before turning around and heading home. Staying overnight was not a good option for my situation. She was on time and had everything in order so that I could optimize my time. At our first meeting we were able to discuss the property, the market, the situation, the listing, and come to a mutual agreement on the best possible timeline for the sale. She understood the challenges of a remote sale and was excellent at helping to prioritize the things I needed to do to keep things on schedule. There were instances where I was unable to complete all the work required at the residence on a given trip. She had local contacts to handle these situations (deep cleaning for example) that were reasonably priced and professional which allowed me to handle the larger tasks and sub out the remaining. The subs were great (communication/timely/excellent). In one particular instance she personally helped with items on the to-do list to ensure the best possible 1st day on the market. Contract arrived quickly and Lisa put up with all of my questions and walked me through why and what to expect. My listing was more complicated as the residence was occupied and she helped me navigate the process with the current tenant. There were a number of requirements the town imposed on the property under contract (paperwork/inspections/etc) which I was completely unaware of. Lisa directly dealt with the town, obtained the paperwork, reviewed it with me, and personally handled inspections so that I didn't have to drive down. When the town required changes, she got me clear feedback on how to remedy the situation. I asked a lot of questions and rehashed things multiple times with her, Lisa was always polite and helpful. My schedule wasn't always convenient I'm sure but she was always willing to set aside time to work with me. I can't thank her enough for her effort and guidance through this process.
